Bought this in Brownwood and its perfectly fine, just insert the 2 AAA batteries and then you go, the screen default is HELLO... good buy, now need not to worry about the over baggage..
Let me start by saying (I HATE SHOPPING!), ok that said. I purchased this item and it didn't work at all. Intially I put some old AAA batteries that were hanging around the house, they didn't work, so thinking it was the batteries, I purchased NEW ones. Well, they didn't work either! The scale would not turn on at all. So, I thought maybe it was just a "lemon", I returned it to Wal-Mart for and identical scale.....yes, you guessed it, the new one didn't work either! This product is a complete waste of time, energy, money AND gas! If there were a negative 5, I'd give it that!
