I would never use these on a baby but when you need a large safety pin these fit the bill. I had to look several places before I found them good price!
These are great because they are virtually unable to be opened by a baby or toddler! That is the whole point. Easy for a caregiver who knows the ŢRICK to opening them. Also, they are made of a wonderful nylon like plastic that is non scratchy. I just wish they were available somewhere.
I had to switch to cloth diapers during a particularly difficult diaper rash with my daughter and these pins made it so much easier for me than I expected. They're easy to get the hang of quickly with a squirming toddler and I wasn't afraid of them opening and poking her.
Hard to open and close.
I would not use these pins if you have children in the house. They are choking hazard. The color part comes off easily. My 2 year old was able to take them apart
