To all those out there currently struggling from the crippling effects of a cold or flu, know that you are not alone. In September, my body was invaded by the foreign agent of evil: the cold virus. Trust me when I say, a war was raging inside of my sinuses as my body attempted to keep air passages open. Towards the end, my antibodies thought they had lost and were about to retreat, until a saving grace fell over the armies. My mom had bought these Vicks tissues. These are the most heavenly, the most kick-those-viruses-in-their-backsides tissues ever. They worked their tissuey magic immediately and almost completely cleared out my mucus filled sinuses. It was absolutely incredible how much these helped. To anyone out there feeling like they are about to lose the battle, do not give up!!! You can win this. Just throw on your bunny slippers and batman pajamas, grab your keys and head to the nearest Walmart. (While you're at it, buy yourself a nice Ben and Jerry's pint. It helps... somehow!) I like having these tissues around the house especiallly now with the pollen starting to coat everything. I even keep a couple in my purse for when I'm out and about.
