This punch (square) was intended to make a project of mine easier. The actual punch was smaller than I had hoped at 7/16 of an inch. Also, the punch itself is slightly hard to work and takes much more pressure than I had hoped considering the large number of squares that I need. The punch does come out nice, though, with all edges cleanly cut.
