This is the most quiet and so easy to clean! The filters don't fall apart & last for a good period. It doesn't make things wet but adds moisture into the air. This is a big deal for this dry high desert area. I couldn't recommend this more.
This humidifier is well made, easy to use, and provides great results. This is probably the 4th or 5th different one I've tried so I have some legitimate others to compare to. Other humidifiers ruined our floors and wood tables with their “mist” constantly collecting in little condensation puddles. Ultrasonic humidifiers are unsanitary, make a wet mess wherever you put them, and they only focus their moisture stream in one small area due to weak fans. This humidifier is so much better. It's quiet on its lower settings, covers a large space, and most importantly is not a wet misty mildew generator. Most people think “well I need to SEE the mist to know there is moisture being added to the air.” Well news flash, misty moisture is too heavy to be added to the air. It sits on your table or floor and evaporates from there. Along with whatever bacteria is sitting on that surface. This humidifier is using a fan to quickly evaporate water from the surface of the basin surrounded by a high quality filter. This means it is generating a small enough water molecule to mix with the air without further condensation and evaporation. It doesn't run through water as quickly as ultrasonic humidifiers, but that doesn't mean it's less efficient. I was able to get more moisture in the house more quickly with this on its high/turbo setting than any ultrasonic humidifier ever offered. The filter keeps the air clean and prevents white dust which all the ultrasonic humidifiers create. So pleased with this that I am actually buying another for my living room. I'd say this can easily humidify a space of 300sq ft. Any larger or hoping it'll get your entire 1-2 bedroom apartment/home is asking too much of it. One in the bedroom and one by my plants seems to be the best solution. Thanks for the great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Evaporative Humidifier is a nice quiet unit in any room. We only have window air conditioners so it doesn't cool the whole house and even though it feels cool in certain rooms it takes too much humidity out of the air in certain rooms. I put this in the bedroom and slept so much better. You can set a timer to turn off after a few hours and has a nice color changing night light on top (you can turn it off or pick your color or have it constantly change) You can not feel any vapor coming out of unit but you know it is. It also filters the air while it is running so it does everything you need. It also has several speeds along with a tubo setting. Although it will be so helpful in winter when the air is so dry to add some moisture to the air I have found it useful in the summer months also. I only set timer to run to run for few hours and and its filtering the air to help fight allergies and kills airborne allergens.
We have used the humidifier through Covid and a case of RSV. It really helped with our coughing and air quality. It's very quiet and worked perfectly for our whole family. It also helps with my husbands snoring! Customer service has been awesome and we appreciate the support.
I love the design of it, and it functions perfectly in my bedroom. Keeps the room from getting too dry and is very quiet which is so rare for evaporative humidifiers. It's at the foot of my bed and on the 2nd speed mode I can't even hear it. Fantastic product!
I bought this humidifier in October 2023 and I can tell a big difference in my sinuses. I had bought another brand up but was not satisfied, but I love this one!
It works! The fan is relatively quiet. That concerned me at first, thinking lack of power. I was wrong! My ~150 sq ft bedroom air smelled fresh and clean. I bought this because my apartment is dry and dusty so I wake up every day with a horrible dry throat and nose. I felt so much better waking up with this. I'm impressed. Also it sits near my bedroom door so I turned it on turbo while I was cooking. My apt always smells like onions for days after I cook them. However this filtered it right out! if it truly lasts 5 years its a good purchase. i was able to rinse out most grime on the filter so i think that will last a decent amount of time.
This humidifier does a very good job at humidifying smaller spaces without the white dust that occurs with other sonic humidifiers you typically purchase. That white dust is such a pain to have to clean over and over, this MistAire Eva solves that problem! This unit is able to increase the humidity in my small rooms relatively easily considering the size of the fan that pushes the moisture into the air. This unit is also very quite while running and has pretty different color LEDs although I don't personally use them. My first unit was defective but the replacement was sent promptly and has worked well for the last month or so. Keeping the included filters cleaned regularly is a must though as any sitting water over time can cause problems! All and all I would recommend this unit to others and the customer service did a very good job when my first unit was defective!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My significant other and I have the worst sinus problems especially in the mornings, so after researching we caved and got a humidifier. This particular one is pretty great, it can add moisture to a fairly decent sized room (I believe 500 square feet) and depending on the fan speed you don't have to refill for at least 8 hours. Using this is super easy, put the floater and the filter in, fill the bottom of the tank to the fill line, place The top back on and then set the timer and fan speed. Starting this I noticed while you could hear the fan running it wasn't super loud, a little softer than a regular fan and you could feel the air pushing through the top of the humidifier and also through the sides slightly so you could definitely tell it was working. Once I started using this for a few day I could definitely tell I was sleeping better. For starters the sound of the humidifier by my bed does a pretty decent job of blocking out some of the outside noise and the fan sound is pretty relaxing (this probably just a personal preference) and I also found that because it put a lot of moisture in the room my nose has been feeling a lot clearer where before I would wake up with my nose blocked up and stuffed up and it made for me waking up to try and clear my nose where now I pretty much sleep through the night. I also found that I stopped waking up with a sore throat throat every morning because I'm a mouth breather, this might because either my nasal cavities are clearing now when I sleep that I can breath out of my nose or because of the moisture I breathing in rather than dry air. Another benefit that I didn't expect was that my skin has been feeling a lot loss dry and itchy because my room hasn't been as dry as it usually is. For the most part while it takes a little while to see a big difference it is worth trying if you have bad sinus issues. Though i will say the easiest way to fill this is with a measure cup because if you over fill it it will go out of the holes in the side because they are right above the fill line which also mean if you bump it you do risk spilling water as well. Another thing worth noting is you do at some point have to replace the filter with 6 month or so depending on the water you in it, personally I use filtered water so that will probably keep the filter lasting longer. For the most part I would say that it's worth trying because I have been sleeping better and my sinuses have been a lot better as well.
I agree with the negative reviews of this humidifier. I've now gone through 2 filters and each one lasts a very short time before getting very smelly and attracts bugs. So when I clean out the humidifier to refill it there are many small dead bugs in the water. And I clean it out every other day! I tried the tip from one customer who said to throw out the filter and just tape the button on the top pressed and that seems to have worked for now. I'm so confused about why the filter even exists if it lasts for that short of a time and stinks up the room. I unfortunately do NOT recommend.
