Purex is the only laundry detergent that doesn't break out my skin in rashes or itchiness. It also cleans very well - much better than All free and clear. It truly is perfume and dye free. I think it is also great that they actually list the ingredients on the label. Something I have never seen before on another laundry detergent. I am so glad I gave this a try.
Great price for a large bottle. Cleans well and is odour free.
My Mom uses this and says it cleans better than any other dye free detergent she has used. Although, no detergent gets clothes as clean as they use too which is very frustrating!! If they had not taken the phosphates out maybe they would still get clothes cleaner!!!!!!!

Purex is a well kept secret. The detergent works very well, and this is the "free and clear" so it's good for sensitive skin or children's clothing. Great price, too.
This product was affordable and did it's job for a household full of adults and children! Oh and dogs too!
I prefer low or scent-free laundry use items. No odor here. Purex seems to offer good quality at a fair price and I use most of their products. I seldom have --dirty-- laundry so I can't answer if it works on greasy or heavily soiled clothing. But I am pleased as an ordinary customer---and notice no fading or spotting from the product---low suds and easy rinse makes me a happy consumer.
Did you guys change something recently in the ingredients? Since 2023 it has been bleaching out my clothing which never used to happen and also causing rashes and water bumps on my hands. These are the sets sold in Jamaica. I'm trying to find a way to contact Pyrex directly and can't seem to find one.
We bought a lovely set of sheets, most expensive we have ever purchased, so comfortable. Well after washing with this detergent the taupe sheets have big orange blotches here and there.
I was "duped" when I read the label - Free & Clear. I "HAVE" to buy Free of perfumes & Dyes for me and my husband, and I just went by the "Big Words".. I have a spotty 'rash' from head to toe, which I have been trying to figure out why - very strange.. And my husband suffers from 'Boils', we have to be very Cautious on laudry detergent.. AND WE ARE NOT RICH!.. so.. tryed it.. Husband got a boil... I got the rash.. then it hit me... I just washed 3 loads with it.. so the clothing is starting to become full cycle... and .. then read the FINE Print.. HAS PERFUME... HAS DYES... now I have to wait til payday to get a different brand. This sucks..
