I purchased this to use for our church during outdoor activities and trips. I used the USB to play mucis and it was great, a lot of base and no real adjustment but sounded good enough. When we tried to use it for a movie we pluged into the AUX port direct from the projector and sound is very very weak, tried to go straight off the DVD player using the RCA and still very very weak. and by weak I mean you need to have the speaker on your lap to hear it. We then tried to use a laptop instead of the DVD player and hooked to the RCA using a spliter that works on our indoor sound system and it was slightly louder but not good enough to use. Very disapointed in this unit and would not recomend.
