Has plenty of power for cb or ham radios.. Meter is nice to have to see how much is drawing from the power supply
This product is great. My dad loves it and recommends if you need one this is the one to get
1) This is NOT a 20 Amp constant power supply, but it appears to handle the load just fine. My radio is supposed to draw 20 Amps at 65w, but the meter says 12 Amp at this load on TX, so everything seems to be okay. 2) The fan is very loud. VERY loud. Plan on keeping this PS at a good distance so it doesn't drive you crazy. 3) It appears to come with a light for the meter, but mine does not illuminate. It's probably in there, but obviously broke in shipping. All the bubble packaging was popped in the shipping box upon receipt. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable 20 Amp PS, this will do the trick, but you get what you pay for. I went for the Pyramid brand, because I liked the 5 Amp PS I use with a CB radio in my shack, and it has been very reliable.
