I have had my two IQ boards for a while now and they are very very effective office tools. I use them to track in progress and ordered items. They have never gotten that old whiteboard marker residue look. They look very stylish as well. The surface is super smooth and I never have problems using them. If I could fit one more board in my space, I would get another one. I highly recommend these boards. Be smart...go for the IQ.
I have several whiteboards of various sizes; this one is portable yet large enough for me to map out my projects and outlines. I'm able to combine it with sticky notes, which stick to it very well, to get maximum creative flexibility when I am trying to connect the dots, problem-solve, and so forth. I like being able to carry it from room to room (I work at home). Complete erasing and easy to clean as well!
This is a great dry-erase board that can help keep you and your family organized. We have this hung up in our family room with notes/reminders for everyone in the family. It was easy to install. The board is fairly big, so you can do a lot with this. You can add pictures and more to your board as well. The aluminum frame is lightweight but sturdy. Great product!
We purchased several white boards for our new fabrication shop. We were impressed with not only the great price on a 4' X 8' board, but the shipping time was very fast, too. When one of the boards arrived damaged, the Customer Service team was very responsive and we had a replacement in short order. We will shop with Jet again & again. Very sturdy. Once affixed to the wall easy to view.
I got this dry erase board to put in my home office and it is absolutely amazing. It was easy to install and hang. I am able to put important dates and reminders and have a constant visual of upcoming appointments. Writing on it is a breeze and erasing is easy.
Quartet Classic Total Erase Dry-Erase Board, 24x18, Silver Aluminum Frame is a great size board. It looks simple and easy to use and clean. However, the aluminum frame looks cheap made and has very sharp edges. The marker holder is so small compare to the size of the board.
This was the cheapest board i could find in 4' by 8'. Once it was delivered i could tell why it was cheap. it is very light weight and flimsy and the corner was dented a little from shipping. once we screwed it to the wall it seems secure enough for our needs. definatly not the best board available, but at half the cost of most of the others, i think it is good enough.
Arrived damaged: several scratches to the surface a mangled tray. (someones boot prints were all over the box; even though it arrived in a 53' trailer) too few mounting brackets to prevent the corners from flopping around.
I had one of these and it was old. It got to the point where you just couldn't erase dry erase markers, especially certain colors (like green and blue). I figured that was because it was old. So I bought a new one, same exact one. But the new one has a similar problem. I'm not sure if its this board or if its all boards with a melamine surface as a whole. There are many more expensive boards, and perhaps you get what you pay for. But even with the new one, if you leave certain colors on it overnight, when you erase them you still see the ghost of what you wrote remaining. Even the cleaning spay doesn't get it off with scrubbing, and I think if you use that spray too much it just makes the problem worse by degrading the finish. Seems a bit better with black marker. If you can afford a better board, perhaps with a porcelain finish, go for it. But with this board, I'd stick to Black markers, and remember to erase it as soon as you're done. It gets worse when you leave the marker on their for a while. The long wide shelf for markers and erasers is nice.
