I bought two of these cabinets to store dvds in my living area. The shelf can be adjusted to level you like but fit two rows of dvds perfectly. It took me hours to figure out what I was doing wrong on step 2 assembling the back piece but once I figured out what I was doing wrong I felt stupid. In short, when you connect the back piece you have to make sure that the narrower edges are in the middle , that is the only way you can get the third step done. In any case aside from that hassle every other step was super easy and I put the second one together in less than 10 mins. I love the color even though it's more of a beige not a grey (description said grey ) but it still complements my house
It's pretty stable. I like the quality of it just enough space for my sons shoes.
This locker is stylish and has space for all kinds of things. I was impressed with how easy this thing was to put together. After taking all of the very well packaged pieces out of the box, I was ready to go with screwdrivers and wrenches and came to find out, I didn't even need any of my own tools (except for a small Philips head screwdriver to put the handles on). The instructions are pretty simple and basically involve just sliding the panels together and they all connect seamlessly. It only took about 20 minutes to put together. I must give a heads up that when installing the two panels that make up the back of the locker, they will be very flimsy and uneven until you put the top on and center shelf in. When it all comes together it's pretty sturdy. It's all metal and the two doors have magnets that keep them closed. My son is using it to keep action figures in as well as on top. It's a cool accent to his room.
This cabinet has a clean, industrial look and is sturdy enough to sit two heavy guitar amps on top. My husband thought the assembly instructions were not particularly user-friendly, but he was able to get everything figured out in an afternoon. I recommend this cabinet for someone looking to fill a small space. The price is very reasonable for the quality.
This metal locker cabinet comes disassembled in a rather heavy box. Assembling is easy, though. It takes one Philips screwdriver and about 30 minutes. Ideally, you need two people to assemble the cabinet, but even one person can do it with no problem following clear and detailed instructions in the manual. Make sure, however, that you have enough open space before you start assembling it. Once assembled, the cabinet is 25.2”High, 39.37”Wide, and 15.75”Deep. It weighs about 35 lbs. The cabinet is made of powder-coated metal which allows it to be easily cleaned with a damp cloth making this the awesome piece for any of your storage needs. Inside, there is one shelf in the middle of the cabinet. The height of this shelf may be changed since there are several holes to regulate its level. I put the shelf right in the middle to divide the volume inside in two equal halves. All together, that provides two storage surfaces inside, behind the doors, and one surface on top of the cabinet. For me, it is plenty of space for storage no matter where I need it. I also like the navy color of the cabinet. The doors have magnets on top and on the bottom, which helps to keep them securely shut so my cat will not be able to open them and hide inside. The doors also have ventilation slits that give air access from outside. The cabinet looks nice and it is very practical.
Came packaged very well, and was very easy to put together. We got this to put our shoes in in the garage. We don't like bringing shoes in the house per all the bacteria it drags in the house. We didn't want to lay a mess of shoes in the garage and as you see this keeps them nice and tidy and looks really cute and clean line! Love this so much for it's versitility ease of use and Ver! Great piece would look great in dorm or as an apartment bar area!!!!
So cute and functional. Order one and had to order another! Love the green color. Easy to put together and sturdy once built.
This review is for the Bradford 2 door metal locker accent cabinet. Fed ex delivered my metal locker in a huge box and I had to get my son to bring it inside! It was for him anyway hahaha! My son is 15 and I thought this would be an excellent shelf for his room. Not only is it “hip” but totally spacey for all of his gadgets and what nots. I also let him put it together. He did not have any difficulty with installation. It took him about 45 minutes to complete. Once he got it all put together, he was able to carry it upstairs to his room without any help. He is really enjoying the shelf. I think he totally loves the locker look. Perfect for teens. He has his earbuds, phone, watch, cologne, alarm clock, and lamp etc on top. And inside are video games on the top, shoes on the bottom. He has a lot of video games and shoes lol. The shelves can hold a lot of weight. I am thinking of getting one for my dining room to store my dishes inside of. I really wanted this for myself for that reason when I saw it lol! I was secretly hoping he wouldn't like it and hand it over! This would be great in any room because it a very attractive piece. It's a great price, sturdy, functional, well made, and there's absolutely nothing to not like about it! It's very roomy, I could fit so many things inside of it! Perfect for artists, for tools, for collectors, dishes, microwave stand, tv stand you name it! I highly recommend this product!
I was hoping I would like This more then I do. The idea is kinda cool.the metal locker design reminds me of school too much, it would probably look really good in a classroom.I got the navy blue one,it Seems like it would show scratches easily.I had somewhat of a hard time with the directions but I was able to put it together myself. Never have i put together a piece of furniture with barely any hardware. The assembly consisted mostly of metal bending and a lot of hammering with my fist. I'm curious to see how it will hold up when I move it to another room. Update- I ended up moving it downstairs and I have to admit i was worried about it being kinda Flimsy because it's was put together with basically no hardware but it held up great. It's actually a really solid piece. I'm impressed!
The most glaring deficiency here is the lack of quality control. In my first shipment, the doors were not flush with the unit after assembly. Walmart was unable to replace the doors so they sent an entire new replacement unit to take the doors from. I tried the doors and they still were not flush (and one of them was bent). Since I had to completely unpack the replacement unit to make it to the doors *at the bottom of the package* I examined the other pieces and found some to be warped - see the ridging in the photo below. And pieces of hardware to be incrementally different in size (not sure if the photo does it justice). All of that doesn't even account for the fact that this unit does not screw together - you either slide piece together and press a small (and I mean like nerd candy size small) metal tab over the connection point to "secure" it or you're supposed to press pieces together. The instructions tell you to have a hammer but there is no point where they instruct you to use it. Additionally, I can only see a hammer damaging this unit and it would be best if you were going to use anything for it to be towels and a rubber mallet. I could see even that bending this unit. I used neither but it was a really unfun experience to assemble. And if you ever want to disassemble it, you'll have to pull these thin metal pieces apart by hand and try not to bend them. I would honestly return this but the idea of having to ship two of these units back is a nightmare. Because naturally they offer you a fedex return which means you have to haul this into your car and to a fedex location unless you want to pay for a pick up. I like the look and thankfully I am only using the right side of the unit which happens to be the door that opens and shuts without issue (because not only as they not even in relation to each other, the left door actually has to be pressed in to close - the paint is already wearing off the top of the door from the three times Ive closed that door). TLDR: quality control is really poor on these units, take your gamble if you have an excess of time or patience but if you have a little bit more money - go buy something else.
