I have been wanting a canopy for several years, but could not find a 12x12 at a decent price. I chose this for the price plus it matches the awning and stripes on our camper. We have used it several times and it is great!! Only downfall is that the bag is not very thick and I do not anticipate it holding up as long as I hope the canopy does.
We used our canopy for Mother's Day was easy to set up we also purchased weights for the legs so we wouldn't have to stake it to the ground worked perfectly for our crawfish boil so we could eat and stay out of the sun. I would highly recommend this product.
I ordered the tent at the last minute for a party and it was shipped immediately. Didn't even have to pay for expedited shipping. Everything about this model tent is great. It goes up fast and is just as easy to take down. It stores neatly in its own case for easy storage. Awhile back I bought one each for my son and daughter, now I have one for myself. It's a great bargain and will give years of service.
Just purchased this item, and got to use it this past weekend on a camping trip. Its easy to set up and take down. A good size, had two picnic tables under it. So far the materials seem to be of good quality. We are happy with this purchase.
Easy to put up and take down, just love the new design where you just push the new clip to disengage the buttons on the legs to move up or down. Bought this one this year and I now have three of these pop-ups to use for my annual family picnics. Provides enough shade and room for couple of tables & chairs. Love the wheeled storage bag that comes with it so easy to put away for the next time its needed...
I'd say this canopy is ok value. We've used it on about 4 different occasions this year for an outdoor hobby. It is fairly easy to set up, especially if you have a couple people helping. Just like the other reviews, I'm not sure how they expect that bag to hold up. We don't use it. Once the canopy is folded up we throw in in the back of the truck. Be advised - it may not fit in your car, it is still pretty long folded up. I wish I would have bought a different brand because it is difficult to find affordable side panels for it. I've searched all over the internet and the only way to buy the side panels or screen room is directly from the Quik Shade website (which are not cheap!) I bought this brand because of the size and sale price. If you think you won't need side panels, then this one will work just fine. It seems durable so far.
I bought it to use for a couple of days during the Relay for Life at the college. Had a heavy thunder and rain storm on Friday night and I thought the tent would be destroyed. When I returned the next day the tent was still standing and still in excellent condition.
This canopy went right up although it does take two people to open up the sides. It seemed to be missing a couple of the tie-downs listed in the instruction book but side Velcro is very secure and is holding the top down well. The only down side is that one of the 4 plastic basis around the support poles broke on the second use. This is what is used to secure it into the ground so be careful on these.
I did not think this product would be so cheaply put together. The canopy rip the first time I put it up. I ordered a coleman product the same day. I would not send this to my enemy.
Looks a good purchase for the price, but it is a very weak product specially the metal structure. You may be very carefull about windy and rainy conditions, because it does not resist any change on weather conditions. The base level is extremely important becase if you don't do well, the strcucture may fall down and the weak metal ceiling frame will broke. I was finishing the assembleling procedure and a sudden wind caused me a real chaos.
