I absolutely love this flosser and the magnetic case!! I purchased this reusable device to be eco-friendly because I hate tossing plastic ones into the garbage (I doubt they recycle them). I'm buying one for my whole family! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great concept just needs a major revamp. Floss is weak, breaks every couple teeth and breaks off to get stuck IN BETWEEN teeth. Very unpleasant
So bought this a couple months back and wanted to give it a bit of time before reviewing it. Especially since I wanted it to be good because I agree with their message of using less plastic for a better envuronment. Clamps are weak but I found if you give a little extra floss and double wrap, the floss will hold on the pick for top and bottom teeth. So I will continue to use the pick until I lose it. Now my main issue is with the floss itself. When I first started using I was breaking the floss every couple teeth because it shreds and shreds easily. With some practice ya and figuring out how much pressure the floss can withstand, ya can get through all your teeth or through the top row and then refill for bottom row. The biggest issue is sometimes when it shreds it will stay stuck in your teeth. So hopefully quip will eventually get to a pick and floss 2.0's and improve upon their initial design. Until then, keep a bag of disposable picks at the ready to remove old shredded floss from between your teeth. Or just don't use it and use just the pick and some other brand of floss.
This product and the black top version were on sale for around $3 at my Walmart. I bought it just to try it out. The floss does not stay in the pick. I saw someone suggesting double wrapping it which is kind of annoying. I might give it a try. Another problem I see is the floss threads-out very easily and comes apart in your teeth and for me it happens after just two or three pics, unlike the stated 180 pics they say on the box. I'm going to try different kind of floss when these run out which shouldn't take long showing is how crappy it is after three pics. The concept is cool. I like a refillable pick. I like that it comes with a magnetically closed case and a mirror. It's a great idea and cuts down on waste but it just isn't up to par with what it's supposed to do. I can reuse one disposable pick for a week but this pic that's supposed to replace that doesn't last 2 minutes. I'm sorry but it just fails to compete.
Don't recommend. The floss is not durable. When using the holder feels almost odd since it's thicker than the disposable ones. Putting the floss on the handle isn't that bad. The design itself is pretty cool. I've seen it come in pink and black. Other than that it's not worth it.
I liked the idea, less waste. I like the floss holder, prefer not to stick my fingers in my mouth. As many have said the grip doest hold strong enough to floss 1-2 teeth and i keep having to reload. The quality of the floss isn't the best. It has a cotton quality to it and seems to shred when flossing. My molars are tight together, trying to get the floss between them only causes the floss to get loose in the holder. Not for me, if i had the receipt and box I would get my money back.
I purchased the copper colored Floss Pick at our local Walmart supercenter. Though I love the look and idea, the floss pick was very disappointing. The floss does not stay tight and I cannot get it between most of my molars. I'm not sure if I can return this item. $19 is expensive, but I was hoping to have a longterm product. I had braces so my teeth are close together but not crowded or overlapping. Love the idea, but it doesn't work for all mouths.
The “idea” of this item is good, especially for someone like myself who wears invisible aligners and had to floss and brush after every meal or snack. I thought Its case and reusable flosser idea would be great for my little travel bag i carry around everywhere with me because if this. But the floss is terrible and shreds and sticks between teeth. The clamp doesn't hold the floss well. Also the shape and thickness of the handle is not very ergonomic and hard to reach back teeth.
I attempted to give it a try for a week, but it's not working for me and I have trashed it already. The floss kept coming lose, when it did stay entact, it wasn't tight enough, if you double up, you will run out quick. I gave up and went back to my regular floss picks.
This product is inferior. First, the wrong product was sent to me from what I ordered. I decided to try it anyway, thinking they discontinued the one I ordered. It falls apart, the floss doesn't hold tight, and it breaks easily. This is a throwaway. I emailed their sight, and it was temporarily out. This product gets a zero rating, but they wouldn't let me send it so I had to put 1 star. It is not the product that is in the picture.
