The tea kettle was larger than I expected but it is a perfect fit to my kitchen.
This little kettle is perfect. I'm the only one that brews tea in the family so I only need a small kettle. At 1.5 qt. it's the smallest I could find for stove-top use, that has some style and doesn't look cheap. It is heavier than you would expect for the size but that's a OK. The whistle is unbelievably loud and annoying, and to me that's a plus since I am known to ignore the kettle for minutes after water boils. Can't ignore this one ... it shrieks really, really loudly and all you want to do is make it stop! Wish it had been a different color, but red will do. Very happy with it.

I decided to purchase this after reading a handful of reviews-both positive & negative. This tea kettle has met and exceeded my expectations so far. I have owned it for two months. The size is perfect for my usage, the whistle is subtle and not too loud. I have a gas range top and I am very careful to not have the flames rise up beyond the bottom of the kettle. No troubles with the handle getting too hot. I actually use the kettle more often than I orginally thought I would. I have kept the receipt and UPC code in case I have any issues in the future and need to call the RR manufacturer. I am happy with this product and would recommend to others. The other tea kettles at my Walmart store looked super cheap and lightweight. I'm glad I bought this one!
