I bought these when I bought my new chipper! They work just fine you can still hear the chipper but it takes off the edge! I will also use them while I'm cutting tile with my tile saw!
I purchased it to protect my ears using industrial items like grinders or metal slice items that are very loud and can easily damage your hearing ability.
I got these for some guys that were helping me and running a chipper, they were cheap enough that if they got lost or broken I did not care, lasted 4 days and still have them in my shed for the next time they are needed.
I have used a lot hearing protection, but these are by far the best ones for the job that I do. Great for extremely loud jobs, but still able to hear and communicate.
Affective and affordable hearing protection. Pick these up to protect my Hearing while using my riding lawnmower. I wanted something low cost but would work and these puppies fit the bill to a T!
So I’m standing in the store looking at hearing protection. I already wear hearing aids. Looking at a popular name brand that’s rated at 22dB for over $25.00. I passed over the Radians at first thinking the low price meant poor performance. Then I looked closer at their ratings, 23dB. I’m glad I did. Been using them for a month both woodworking and mowing. They are great.
I purchased several Radians DefGuard Hearing Protector NRR 23dB Red Model DF0310HC and keep them located throughout my workshop so I can put them on quickly when using loud powe4 tools. I also keep a pair in shed for use when doing tool-assisted yard work such as mowing, chinsaw use etc. They are comfortable, effective and the cost was more than reasonable. For somene like me, who spends a lot of time in his workshop, I highly recommend them for anyone using loud or noisy tools.
I bought several pair of these for an individual who is sensitive to loud noise. The individual has responded that the ear muffs work very well.
Purchased this as a replacement. Provides good hearing protection without spending big bucks. Ware them while cutting grass.
Comfortable and seems to block out most ambient noise. Have not used yet with my power tools but expect that it will do a good job to protect my ears. Pretty inexpensive, too.
