It's not a Gameboy or Xbox. It is a practical, yet wonderful toy that your children or grandchildren will love from toddler to 10-years old. By the way, the newer models won't tip over like the ones you and I had as kids. The railing also makes it safer for toddlers. See my grandbaby :-))
My daughter fell in love with the radio flyer wagon her first stay in Doernbechers children's hospital. When I explained to her what the plaque on the back said and how the hospital ended up with the wagon, she made me promise her I would buy her one to donate to the hospital. I bought the wood one because I am going to burn her name in the back and her two friends she lost during treatment. After I finish the wagon we are going to buy a bunch of stuff to fill the wagon and then take it to the hospital
For our 1year old grandson with plenty of room to share with his baby sister when she gets here! With fond memories Grandpa stilll has his Radio Flyer wagon from many, many years ago & it was those memories that led to this purchase. Hope this lasts as long!
Easy to assemble. Lots of fun for this little guy.
I purchased this for our almost year-old grandson and had no problems assembling although I am handy with tools. We live in the country and we took him all terrain and he loved it. The large tires made it easy to pull even on a wet dirt road. We placed a seat in the wagon for his first ride for safety.
My 7 month old loves this wagon! We put a few blankets and a boppy in it to protect her from tipping over. Then we add a few teething toys and our yorkie and off we go! It is sturdy, quiet, and quality. It can handle grass and curbs. Much better than metal or plastic. Easy to put together. Looks very classic and cute.
My family and i take walk around the neighborhood now and events. Its very great exercise for those adults that cant get out. Its a great wagon. The big wheels can go through grass rocks and dirt. I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old and they love it. They both fit in there just well with room to spare for one more. I did modify it with a seat cushion ...& i place a bike flag and screwed in the side panels to get an inch higher on the sides. Along with that i put in some brackets to hold the corners together. Which make the sides stronger. And a license plate which i also got at wal-mart that reads "spoiled". A+++ in my book.
My 2 year old son loves this wagon, I thought it would be a little more derable. The side panel's can be removed by just lifting them so my son is alway taking them off and trying to put them back on. One of the side panel's already cracked because of this. Its a good wagon just thought the wood would be a little thicker and stronger.
I bought this for my 18 year old Border Collie. He can't walk as far as he would like to. I have had it a month, and the wagon is not holding up like it should. The red paint on the removable panels is rubbing off, it's all over the wooden cart and even came off on the dog. The handle arm shaft is bent somehow but this wagon is not getting rough use. I do get alont of compliments on it, because when you haul around a dog in a wagon, people notice.
One person assembly was a bit tedious. The wood floorboard of the wagon is a bit soft allowing the bolt heads to pull down into the wood upon tightening. A couple of the side rail bracket holes easily stripped while tightening the screws. No washers were provided to install beneath the self locking nuts. The "hub cap" nuts make future removal very difficult. The rear axle braces were not flush with the axle flange causing the wheel to rub the edge of the brace. I recommend the metal cargo bin rather than wood.
