Great Purchase!

I bought this horse online from WalMart and had it sent from site to store. I'm in Texas and I had it sent to my granddaughter in Ohio, so the savings on shipping was significant. My son picked it up at his neighborhood WalMart. I had purchased the same horse for another grandchild a couple of years ago, so I knew of the Radio Flyer quality. I chose the horse without sound, simply because even though I knew the child would love it, the horse would meet a certain painful death after just a few days of neighs and clip clops! The horse is sized to be utilized for several years, its not too large for a two year old and a six year old can still ride it. I am very pleased wth the purchase of this horse from WalMart.

My son just turned 2 and although this toy is a little big for him I know he will grow into it quickly. I can tell it will be one of those toys he will use for a very long time.

I bought this for my granddaughter last Christmas. She was only 18 mos. at the time and it was way too big for her. I was surprised at how big it really was. However, in a couple of months she was off and running on it! Now at 2 she loves it and it will last through her years and will be a great hand-me-down. Very sturdy and safe and it will not wear out even with bigger kids on it.

My daughter got this for her 1st birthday in September. She plays with it every day, but for only about 5 minutes at a time, maybe 3 times a day. It's a cute toy, but I wish she would play with it more often. It takes up a reasonable amount of space and doesn't get played with enough. I would say that it is a good toy, but for the amount we paid for it I would have expected more play time out of it. Also, it is made of metal so she must always be monitored when playing on it because she is too little to climb up on her own. Maybe when she gets older and bigger, this would be a better toy for her.

At first I was a little worried about how my 2 year old would manage to get on & off due to the placement of the stirrups. (They are a little to far forward for a child of shorter stature.) BUT, that does not seem to be an issue for him. He just whips his leg over the saddle & away they go! This is one of his favorite toys without a doubt. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with active children.

This was a gift for my daughters 4th birthday and she loved it. We were concerned about the weight since she is big for her age but it hasnt been a problem. she has exceded the weight limit and it is still holding up well. We have had it for almost 2 years.

I ordered this product online not sure what to expect. When I was notified that the product was in I received it ,brought it home and put it together fairly easy. I appreciated all of the detail for safety. I was worried about the springs and now I won't. I would recommend the Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse to anyone.

Looking at the picture, I seriously thought that the horse itself would be closer to the ground. I bought this for my 20 month old little boy. Don't get me wrong, HE LOVES IT, but I'm very nervous about him getting on and off of it and not falling off. If I would have known that it was this tall I wouldn't have bought it. Instead I would have bought the smaller Radio Flyer rocking horse. Besides that, it really is a GREAT rocking horse and you do get what you pay for PLUS MORE. I'm sure when he grows taller he'll appreciate it more and I'm more than 99.99% sure that the Radio Flyer rocking horse will still be around and in excellent condition! I always have trusted Radio Flyers!

Our two little ones love this gift from Santa. It was not difficult to assemble, which surprised me. The major concern is that this is marketed for ages 1 1/2 to 5, and it is WAY too big for our 18 month old, and almost too big for our tall 2 year old. She just manages to climb on and off, but it is scary. We have to hold the little one on each time she rides. On the upside, they will be able to enjoy it for a few years to come!

Only 1 thumb up & 1 thumb down

I bought this horse for my 5 yr old daughter. I chose this horse because it sounded like my daughter would 'fit' on it and she does!! I also wanted to pass it down to my son, he is 12 months old now and he loves to sit on the horse although we need to watch him still. It is a beautiful horse, easy to set up, and is sturdy. The overall quality of the plastic horse and base is very good. I gave it a thumb down because it was over priced. The seam on the seat and the glue for the yarn mane is breaking off. THe horse has had very little use, we've only had it for a little over 2 months now. Our 1 yr old has sat on it maybe 3 times, our 5 yr old maybe 10 times. It shouldn't be falling apart with such little use. I was hoping to have a very nice looking, nice quality horse in our house, but I have a feeling it will look like a 'junk' horse after a few more months.
