Our little one climbs on n off but doesn't rock just yet, she does love to tap it and hear it make noises tho! Seems to be a great Lil rocking horse!
Bought this for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. she is tiny, but loves this horse. she is able to pull up on it, and will have lots of riding time before she out grows it.
I bought this for my Granddaughters 1st Birthday and I’m glad I did
Our 11 month old loves this rocker. It's worth the extra money because she can bounce in it as well as rock. I made the mistake (step one) of what I thought was hand tightening the two horse halves together. When I put the four rubber bands on the horse it pulled them apart. Don't be afraid to really tighten the eight screws (step one) into them. I wouldn't use a screw gun because it probably will strip the heads!! The only other mistake I made was giving it to her before Xmas! The police haven't shown up yet?? LOL I don't think you'll be disappointed and neither will your lil one!
This made for a memorable first Christmas for us all!
Super cute and love it! Great size for my 1 year old and my 2 year old.
My son likes this toy. I will say he's more interested in investigating it than riding it though. It was difficult to put together. My husband had to grab his power screwdriver since it was taking FOREVER for me to do it by hand; it takes a long time for the screws to properly grab onto the opposite side. I'm pretty sure that's why a previous customer had problems with it splitting; the screws didn't grab on properly. Once it was put together everything worked perfectly.
You will have to pre-screw the slots before putting the two halves together, very tight fit. Other than that it was very simple. Our one year old granddaughter just loved it.
I bought one of these a few years ago for my children. It was well built and held up well. However, after assembling the one I recently purchased for my nephew, I'm afraid the quality is not what it was. The screws holding the two body halves together aren't really big enough for the job. They're long enough, but their small diameter and subsequent light tread depth didn't really cicnch the two halves together very well. When I attached the rubber straps, the tension started warping the halves of the horse. Due to the screws being inadequate, the halves started separating near the noise box. I had to take the straps off and apply some heavy duty packing tape around the affected areas before reattaching the straps. After that, it was fine and worked well. If you buy one of these, think about getting some slightly beefier screws to hold the horse together. Overall, it was a hit though. Additional note: the one I bought a few years back was pricier and the horse halves seemed to be a thicker plastic.
My son received this cute little horse for his first birthday, and he absolutely loves to bounce and rock on it, but the sound rarely works. We've had it for a little over a month and he spends a couple hours a day off and on playing on it and sometimes the sound never plays, but I really wish it would work, because when it finally does make a sound he laughs and laughs at it.
