I absolutely love Rain-x. I was unaware they made a product as an additive! Because my windshield wipers aren't the best, I always use Rain-x to assist with getting the water off my windshield. I put this product in with my wiper fluid and it worked wonders! I definitely recommend this Rain-x to everyone!
This stuff works so well. Rain X has exceeded my expectations. My visibility through my windshield has never been clearer! The rain just beads off the windshield. I'm able to see so much better than I could before. We recently had a lot of rain and I did not have to worry about the droplets on my windshield because they would just roll right down or blow off. I can't believe the difference it makes having this and I will be a user from now on.
You know what? This Rain-X Washer Fluid Additive is fantastic! I never knew that Rain- X made an additive. I think it's excellent because for around the same price as traditional washer fluid, you can make double/triple the amount using just 4oz of this additive and a gallon of water. The rain really does bead right off. This is definitely my new go-to for washer fluid.
My dad always uses Rain-X products which is why I also use them. This was my 1st time using the additive. I currently use the all season Rain-X wiper fluid. So with this additive I did notice the windshield was clearer or cleaner. Also repeals the rain, beads up and rolls up the windshield. This one bottle has 3-4 uses depending on how much is used. After using this I told my dad about it and he's been using it too. Lol
To be clear I love Rain-X and have been using it for years. It has aided visibility for me during drives through dreadful winter rain storms to and from work. Typically, I use the Rain-X windshield rain repellent during the winter, which by the way works great, but it gets a bit tiring having to apply it; and as I age, I am getting lazier. The Rain-X washer fluid additive is a lot easier to use. Just add four ounces to 1 gallon of windshield washer fluid, which can be any type of windshield washer fluid. You can gauge if you've added the right amount by looking at the level indicator on the side of the bottle. Honestly, I don't even know if my windshield fluid tank holds a gallon. Anyway, I added the four ounces and started using it to wash the windshield. My windshield was a bit grimy so it took a few washes to wipe the guck off. There have been a few sprinkles of rain lately and I do see the rain beading off. I am pretty confident it will continue to work well through the rainy season this winter. I also added four ounces of the Rain-X Washer Fluid Additive to my husband's car. He did not feel it was necessary but I think he'll be in for a pleasant surprise.
An awesome additive for keeping your windshield clear and free. Comes with a nice soft windshield cloth . Add according to directions and no more spotty lines or steaks. Works extremely well and is easy to use. The cloth is great for perfectionist who need like absolutely no streaks or watermarks on windshield.
I recieved the Rain x washer fluid additive a few weeks ago. Let me start by saying most the time I have only used just your regular cheap washer fluid thinking they was all the same but boy was I wrong. This stuff is amazing i drove for the first time in the rain yesturday after adding this rain x washer additive and it made such a huge difference it definitely does as it says the rain drops just flew right of and with no greasy residue left behind. I can not race enough about this product I'm definitely from now on a life long customer and i would recommend it to anyone it's that amazing.
It has started snowing where I live, and also rain/snow mix frequently. I added some of this to the washer fluid in my vehicle and it helped so much. My windshield wipers are fairly new, but sometimes the water just doesn't want to completely wipe away. This Rain-X washer fluid additive creates a protective layer on my windshield that makes the rsin and melty snow ball up and roll right off the sides. It is easy to use. Make sure your normal washer fluid is pretty full, and add about a quarter of this additive bottle. The bottle says 4 oz for each one gallon of washer solution, and there are four uses in each Rain-X bottle. I was concerned that it might leave a film on my windshield, but it was perfectly clear after using. I did let the additive set for a few minutes using it. I would use it again!
This was real simple to use. You just add the amount listed on the bottle to a gallon of washer fluid and you're done. I have used Rain-X before that your wipe onto your window but this makes it much easier. It repels water but I do notice if you have to use your wiper, it leaves a brief (like only a second) cloudy streak, which it also did when I previously used the wipe on Rain-X. I tried to get a picture of the water beading on the window to show but I just couldn't get a good picture. The bottle says to keep it from freezing, but I assume (I hope) it's ok to mix it in a freezing climate. Haven't had a chance to see how it'll work in heavy rain.
I was so excited to use this but when I did, it seemed to streak more before it cleared up when I used it. It was just sprinkling when I used it. I also used it with snow but didn't see a huge difference. I can't say I liked how it worked. Out didn't need the entire bottle so that was good.
