I've had this for a couple years and cook sauces and meats in it. I love the long handle for easy pouring. It didn't coe with a lid, but I have a glass lid form a different pot set that fits it perfectly. I've really used it a lot until recently when I got the larger dutch ovens. But I still love it.
I was disappointed to see how much smaller this skillet is for being labeled a 12 inch skillet. I measured it at home and it is only 10 inches, not a true 12 inch skillet. I have a Emeril 12 inch skillet and the difference is obvious. It is also thinner. I did use it for frying and it worked pretty good and I do like the high sides. So overall all it is pretty good for the money but the 12 inch label is misleading.
