This charger is not only fast but it's also smart. When the batteries are fully charged it turns off. I love the Platinum Series Battery which last 1000 Amp Hours longer than Duracell
With kids, appointments and errands I dont have time to wait for my phone to charge in the wall. Using the camera on my phone drains the power fast. I'm super excited to have rayovac's power pack keep me charged up so I wont miss a moment with the family.
When I don't have time to stay in my car or at home and need a charge, I just plug it into my phone and it gives me the charge I need for my phone
I was extremely happy with this product and so was my wife. The charger is small and holds a six hour plus charge for cell phones. If you travel you need this product.
I use the rechargeable batteries in my scanner i bought some other rayovac ones they did not last a day in my scanner but i could not find the Platinum ones any in of the stores by me. only ones to use Platinum
I purchased the Rayovac Platinum Lithium Ion Power Pack at my local Walmart store, charged it through the USB on my laptop and threw it in my travel bag for a business trip. I traveled to Las Vegas for a convention and used my iPhone all day for driving directions and recommendations for seeing the city. Later that afternoon while at the convention center, I realized I was a few minutes late for a conference call and noticed my iPhone battery was at 5%! So I plugged in the Power Pack and the iPhone instantly began charging. I was able to join my call and make it all the way through the 45 minute meeting without powering down. This charger was a life (job) saver for me. Can't wait to use it again. Definitely recommend it!
I like it. It is small, charges fast, and can easily charge most of your portable devices. The only drawback is how quickly it runs empty. But, if you have access to a power source, a power inverter, or a cigarette lighter, it's a snap to recharge it. And it draws so little power you can charge it in your vehicle without running the engine, and it won't drain the vehicle battery enough to prevent ignition.
this doesnt work with my iphone 5, which was my primary reason for getting this product. However it DOES work with my husband's blackberry so at least one of us was happy
This device is available as a single pack at Walmart, or a double pack through Sam's Club. On the package it says you can get "up to 6 hours" of additional talk time on your cell phone using this device. What it DOESN'T tell you, is what type of phone you'll have to charge with one of these to get that kind of extra time. The power pack comes with three of the more popular tips for phones - Apple, mini-USB, and micro-USB. You have to charge the device via a USB cable connected to your computer, or if you have an A/C plug with a microUSB tip on it, you can directly plug it into the wall to charge it up. I tested these on four phones via coworkers at work: An iPhone 4s, two Android phones (HTC Rezound, and Samsung Galaxy S), and a "dumb" phone (basic feature non-smart, prepaid phone from Net10). Using a fully charged Power Pack, it increased the iPhone's battery by 21%, the Android phones by only 10% to 11%, each, and the basic prepaid phone about 40%+, full from near 0 power. In other words, the amount of power these packs hold is FAR less than the package seems to suggest. In an absolute emergency if your phone is power-dead, then yes, it will give you enough juice to make an emergency call (in the case of the Android phones), or just a bit more with the others. But just note you won't get charge after charge out of one use with one of these. Shop around - there are similar devices that perform in similar (but better) ways.
It wouldn't charge. Never worked. Tried to return have to contact someone else. I will let you know about other company when I hear back from them
