It was time for an upgrade, but didn't want to spend over $100. Noticed this headset was on sale and the quality in both sound and material were worth far more than what the cost was. The headset alone offers a couple ways to customize the audio and mic, but with Synapse you can truly have it set to how you like it. Definitely comfortable and durable, I do not see this breaking on me any time soon.
I bought it for my boyfriend just cause his other headset broke, it's amazing! the cushion on it makes it so you can have it on all the time, it's soundproof, the sound on it comes in so good, i highly recommend this product!
I honestly would recommend. It is super comfortable. And super light. I owned a pair of beats and it they were a bit heavy. And as a glasses wearer these are perfect they have an indent to the earmuffs, so they aren't tight on my head. They also came like a week early.
Works well with discord and gaming (raid leading). The sound is awesome and they last longer than any junk ones you get for 20 bucks or in a combo set .If i had a complaint and it could be me is that i have to go into my sound and change it from my main surround sound to the mic chat , not a big deal at all esp for this quality
Mic was good for the price, useful in every situation. Mic Monitoring is a cool effect if you aren't used to the ASMR effect. THX is good as well, you get a good feeling of the sounds in the game (even in music) and become really immersed into what you are listening to. I don't have many critiques other than with all the sound devices being used, and the lack of comprehensive documentation, it can become a bit confusing. The bias in this regard is towards my intellect when it comes to interfacing with sound in the windows system. If you are looking for a budget mic that is professional enough to not have inconsistencies when chatting with friends and listening to gameplay simultaneously, this is a good mic for that purpose.

This is one of the best headsets I've ever had. I got mine on sale for 68 bucks and couldn't be happier with it. They have great sound with lots of bass and from what I can tell a very durable build quality. I'm using them with my Xbox one S with Dolby Atmos enable so I can't speak to the experience with THX and Razer Synapse. I'd recommend this headset to console players only if you can get it on sale. For console players I'd recommend the Razer Kraken Pro V2 as they are usually 20 bucks cheaper. Now for PC players these do give you the added benefit of THX if your interested in virtual surround sound and Razer Synapse if you want to change your EQs.
I use this headset mainly for PC. I play a lot of Call of Duty Warzone and I can tell where the enemy footsteps are coming from, or if a nearby enemy opens a door, or even the door knobs turning when an enemy tries to sneak up on my team. My friends who I always play with don't hear some of the in-game sounds that I hear and they're like "How TF did you hear that??", and they have the Logitech G Pro X and Hyper X cloud II -- which makes me more satisfied with this purchase. Got this headset on sale for $73.99 back in July. PROS: 1. Very Comfortable earcups! Memory foam gel and cloth material is cool to touch. 2. Stereo Sound quality is great for gaming and music like spotify. 3. Sound is LOUD and clear. 4. Durable build! Metal frames, hard plastic earcups. 5. Long braided cord. 6. Audio controls on cord is nice and intuitive. CONS: 1. THX surround sound is awful. Disable it and just stick with Stereo mode. 2. Earcups don't swivel but that's understandable because of build. 3. Headband cushion is decent but could be a bit thicker. 4. Razer Synapse software could be glitchy sometimes but recent updates made it better.
Honestly, the highlight of this headset is the mic quality. I've been through a fair few gaming headsets, and this one has a pretty great mic. The audio quality is nothing to write home about, but it is as good as you coukd expect at the price point. I'd say it fairly comfortable, but maybe avoid if you have large ears, not a lot of wiggle room in that area.
Warning!!! This is a refurbished used and repaired item. Hard to find where it says it until you receive it without a box. No thanks for someone else's problems and previously worn headset.
