It's been awhile since Wal-Mart has had this gaming mousepad. I bought mine about a year ago and still use it everyday. It has a very smooth side and a more course, abrassive side, (which i prefer) to me seems faster. I used to play wow and now swtor with a razer naga molten edition mouse. The gel wrist pad is very comfortable, especially for long houred gaming sessions. This is a very large mousepad, about 1.5 times bigger than your average pad. Overall i have been very pleased with this purchase and will continue to use it daily for as long it lasts, which so far has been a year of abuse and its still in immaculate condition. 5 stars, and happy hunting!
I have a Razer mouse and keyboard, after a while I noticed that I needed a padded mouse pad. This mouse pad is amazingly responsive. The mouse pad has 2 sides a smooth side and a rougher side, I actually prefer the rougher sid. It is incredibly reaponsive. The wrist rest is a little firm, but after only a few hours of play it has softened up considerably. Overall I rate this mouse pad 5/5, go buy it!
My husband was using a vinyl floor tile as a mouse pad as the mouse he uses for photoshop did not respond well on a traditional mouse. He put his high precision mouse on this mouse pad and could not believe the difference it has made and the frustration it has saved.
First time using a hard surface pad - and wow - never going back. Pad to prevent wrist strain, works well. I used to get achy, but not anymore. Surface is great detects movement great, such an upgrade from my old SteelSeries soft pad (which was also excellent).
I like it very much
I bought this to replace one that I bought 4 or 5 years ago that had finally become warped. The Vespula is by far the best mouse pad I have ever used, which is why I bought the same to replace it. The wrist rest is A LOT firmer than I remember it being. To the point that it began to hurt my wrist after about an hour of use. It still isn't as mushy as my old one but I love it. The price may seem steep to some but it is great when used for what it designed for. Not to mention the price is a little cheaper than it was back in 2010 when I bought my first one.
This mouse pad has definitely been the best I have ever used. The dual sided areas definitely make a difference and the gel wrist rest seriously makes a huge difference in comfort. The only thing that stops this product from getting 5 stars is the price. If the price were 15 or 20 dollars it'd be more reasonable, but for 30, or 35 from the official website, I don't see where the entire value is. If you have the money DEFINITELY buy it.
I really like this mouse mat.. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wrist pad could be a little softer. It's a "hard soft"!! Really like the size of it and how the mouse glides so easily.
First of all I cannot stand the wrist rest, but I am not a person who likes having a wrist rest, but I wanted to try one again. So I'm saying it slips around pretty easily without the mat that has the wrist rest attached to it, I'm now using it with the wrist rest backwards, so it doesn't slip anymore. The smooth side(speed) is the side I have been using, I have a logitech g700s wireless mouse and it is only about a year old. My mouse's feet must be worn down slightly or something because after about 2 weeks this mat is starting to get a very large number of minor scratches, you can only see them when looking closely but they are there. This worries me as I think the scratches are eventually going to distort the surface slightly, which ruins the whole point of buying a premium mousepad. I would like to add that if you did want a wrist rest mouse pad this one would probably be pretty nice as the wrist rest goes under the the hard mat so they stay together. And since this has two sides I suppose the scratching problem wouldn't be too bad since when one side gets all scratched up I can use the other side.
All I can say is save your Money I took it back to walmart it wood not work with my mouse.
