This is for traveling aaround Ohio University campus. Had another one that was stolen and this is a replacement. Could not find a cheaper price. Half the price of Walmart. This Rip Stix G is used by a 24 yr. old. This is a jacked up skate board. Not for a novice and not for someone who does not have excellant balance.
My son loves this one more than the regular rip stick. for the $20-25 difference he replaced the first one with this one and says it is a lot smoother. He is 10 yrs so he is not too experienced. Great purchase
my son loves the ripstik .Both of my children ages 7 and 11 have one.The 7 yr old has a ripstik ripster deluxe .This modelis a little smaller but it does the same twist and turns
My son loves the Rip Stick. He has been riding it nonstop since he's had it.
My 10 year old loves this product. He is "ripping" all over our sidewalks. (He can do that in Texas in December.) Walmart had a great price and "site to store" worked perfectly. On-line shopping and this product gave my son and myself a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
This is a great product. Loads of fun! We have two in our house now, and they are used non stop by my 8, 9, and 12 year olds. Even my husband and I enjoy it. It takes a little while to master, but then it is a blast. We ride ours in the house on the wood floors, they go much faster that way and don't wear out the wheels as quickly. Order early, site to store takes a while. Overall, I highly recommend!
I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas, and it was a HUGE hit!!! He has spent almost every waking second on it since he got it. He's not an extremely athletic kid, and he picked it up much faster than I imagined. The DVD was very helpful, but it really isn't hard to ride. I decided to give it a try, and picked it up in less than 5 minutes. It really is a lot of fun, and gets the kids off the couch!
I bought this for my 12yr. old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He had never ridden one before and had it 'mastered' in less than an hour. His 9yr. old brother is doing quite well on it, also. I engraved his name and phone # in three places (what he is pointing to).
The Ripstik "G" Caster Board was surprisingly very rough and fun to use for my 11-year kid. It was ready to use out-of-the-box which is always good when you receive a present. Something that makes this board better against others is its light weight compared to others. Weight matters since it gets much easier to move, therefore easier to use and have fun, specially for kids.
Good sturdy board, flexible for easy turns and tricks. 12 yr old son loves it. Walmart had the best price I could find anywhere for this particular ripstick. The prices I found elsewhere ranged from $99 to $129; I got it at Walmart.com for $69.
