After the first use, it began to tear when I cleaned it. The only good thing is the color.
Incredible quality. Best Makeup sponges
My daughter and I love this! We have tried another brand or two but this one is better and the price is great.
The swirl design is made up from multiple foams and makes the application and absorption different from the regular orange sponge. Its cute but I do not care for the limited edition swirl design. Stick to using the regular orange sponge for a true application of your makeup.
This is a nice sponge, it's very soft and applies makeup really nicely, BUT you have to be super careful with it, as it's really delicate and will come apart easily. I accidentally put a small tear in it with my thumbnail and within about 5 more uses / washes, it's already completely split apart. So yes, very soft and does a great job application wise, but you have to be extremely gentle with it if you want it to least.
So I just bought this yesterday, January 22, 2021, got home washed it with a bit of Dr. Bronner's diluted in water. That's all I did, I didn't use it I simply washed it. Fast forward a morning later and I noticed it's torn near the tip, and a gash-like cut on the side. I have no idea how it happened. I love the texture and overall feel, I just haven't gotten around to actually using it. I also bought the Equate version and saw that it had no tears or gashes, and I had to spend more time on washing it due to it bleeding its dye. Has anyone else experienced this? I made sure not to dig my nails into it when washing it.
I only buy real techniques beauty sponges, they usually last me 6 months or more but I typically replace them sooner because of bacteria. I bought the marble swirl one because I thought it was cute and to change things up. It's already falling apart. Every time I use it there's pieces of the sponge left on my shirt. I've never had this problem with the regular orange or purple ones. Pretty disappointed since it's only been 2 weeks since I bought it.
I usually LOVE RT sponges but this one was awful. it literally fell apart separating in between where the colors connect after the first time i used it. I will still be using RT beauty blenders, but will stick with the traditional miracle complexion.
I‘ve used RT sponges for years and definitely stand by the original orange. Bought this while traveling because I forgot to pack one. Lasted 3 uses, and that's a stretch. It barely got me through my trip. After one use I noticed small tears, after 2 uses they were big deep rips. After the third use, this thing was disintegrating. I know how to take care of sponges, and I expect them to hold up to gentle cleansing with mild soap and last at least a month or more. Avoid this sponge. Don't waste your money. RT, stop selling this.
I like RT makeup tools and am a fan of the original makeup sponges but this one fell apart as soon as I washed it. It started crumbling, I didn't even a chance to use it.
