Comes in the licensed GoPro packaging. Works just as described. Fits my GoPro Hero9.
shipped quickly, gopro battery original product as advertised
Great original go pro batteries
charged up nicely Seems to last about the right amount of time
The batteries are a much better size, I don't have large hands but found the batteries prior to the Hero 9's just too fiddly. Especially if you have gloves on . But now they are much easier to handle. Yes, (slightly) larger is better. They last longer too - but still dissipate too quickly.
I own a few of these for my GoPro10. I use them on my motorcycle helmet. My settings are not crazy and I've tried to make them battery friendly. One of these batteries will not last more than about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It's so annoying. I've taken to using a large battery charger we used for Disney to keep in my pocket to connect to the GoPro for any trip over 2 hours (which is most of them). These are just such a hassle.
The reviews specifically state longer battery life. Well, that's not the case for these new batteries. Turning on the camera alone eats up 1 to 2 percentages of the battery! My hero 5's battery would last me way more than this new battery type. I guess it's a good thing I bought an extra battery because I know for a fact one of these won't last long. So much for making us believe these were an upgrade so make sure you shoot quick because the battery will be done before you know it.
Instead of trying to get a new version of a GoPro out every year they should dial in the equipment they are actually selling. Like so many bad elements of the GoPro 10 (over heating, locking up, useless phone app) the battery is also a disgrace. In order to get a "partial" filming of a 1:30 hour mountain bike ride I go through 3 batteries, and this is with me really limiting my shooting based on this issue, in addition to only shooting on the standard mode to extend batteries. Shame on you GoPro
died completely within a year.
Just bought my first GoPro Hero 9 Black. Within 5 mins of being turned on after a full charge battery is already down to 90%. Didn't even started recording or take pics yet. And while making a 30min video GoPro got real hot and battery was at 10% life. Hopefully there's a new improvement on future batteries to keep the GoPro worthy.
