It's a great game we really enjoy it!!!!!!!
If you love Red Dead Redemption, Zombies, or both, you may want to pick up this game. It is full of new things to do and experience in and around very familiar locations within the base game, and the interactions with new and old characters can be hilarious. However, for those of us who don't like zombies or the sudden pop culture explosion of the zombie phenomenon in all aspects of movies, television and video games, this may not be the game add-on for you. But, unlike many zombie-themed games, this one does not take itself too seriously, and that makes it a lot more tolerable. As expected, you find yourself in the shoes of John Marston in-between the points in the main game where John has returned home to his family and the end of the game itself. For some unknown reason, the world has been filled with a chilling fog that has caused the dead to rise from their graves and attack normal people and animals to turn them into the undead as well. There are lots of towns and settlements for John to "cleanse", new hunting and survival challenges to complete, and seemingly countless zombie hordes for your head-shot pleasure. The add-on is good for about 8-10 hours of mission-based gameplay, and if you enjoy killing zombies for the sheer fun of it, then the play time can last for much longer than that. All in all, I would say that this disc-based add-on has enough fun stuff packed in that it is well worth the sub-$9.99 price tag, even if (like me) you are NOT into zombies. However, if you have the base game (which is not required to play Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare), I suggest that you buy this add-on as a download in order to get the most out of your experience, as additionally purchased downloadable add-ons from the main game (such as gold guns or premium outfits) will not carry over to Undead Nightmare if you buy the disc version. Regardless of the format you choose, this game is worth the price of admission as a stand alone add-on to an already amazing experience, and does a great job of extending your time and entertainment with John Marston and the old west.
