Good yarn. So happy I could still get it, as I needed extra.
Caron is great yarn to crochet with. Excellent color selection online. I use it to make warm prayer shawls for my fellow church members and those in several hospice centers. Leftover yarn goes into hats for adult homeless and/or mittens for children in need. Not an inch is wasted!
The fact that it's durable and has many color ranges is why I choose Red Heart. The prices are decent as well.
My son's girlfriend would not use Red Heart yarn. I made her an afghan. Washed and dried it and then gave to her. She loves it and uses every night when watching TV or reading. Her and I had many "discussions" about my love of the yarn. I told her the blanket will out live her, her children and their children. She is now a Red Heart convert! Using Red Heart yarn is a long tradition in my family.
I was very happy with how this worked for my crocheted baby blanket. There were a few knots that broke the color sequencing but that's nothing new really even in more expensive yarns (I'm looking at you Noro!) I was happy with the amount of twist and didn't find this to be as splitty as other yarns in this price point.
My go to yarn for pattern making. I use this yarn for everything from clothing, to blankets, to amigurumi! Wash and wear is great and I can throw things in the dryer without pilling or shrinkage!

RedHeaart Supersaver is a great yarn for the price. The more you wash it, the softer it gets. Becare of what you are creating as with age, the yarn softens so much that stuffed animals will lose their shape.
