I found it much better to shop online for yarns than going to the store. When I go to the store, I always fill the cart up with so much yarn, I'm always shocked at the total when checking out. Online, I got the same yarn, but could carefully watch the total in my cart. It forces you to carefully pick out what you really want. I use the jumbo yarns as borders around finished pieces, so I generally need more than the standard skeins This year I made baby blankets and scarves to donate, instead of giving family new ones - my sister's idea. I hope they make someone else's day just a little brighter this year.
It turned out perfect, I was working on a crochet project and the color matched, so now I'm trying to finish it. It arrived in good condition and just in time when my last thread was almost finished.
Beautiful color! I was browsing down the yarn aisle, immediately fell in love with the color, and snatched up two skeins. When I got home, I started on a blanket and calculated Id need a total of 5 skeins. I went back to the store, but there was only one left! placed an order for 2 more and by the time Id finished the one I found at the store, the next 2 had arrived! Super quick delivery. exact color match! so satisfied!
Red heart has great stitch definition and it's a huge reason I love working with it. I don't mind the rougher texture. It's a decent price and comes in lots of options
This is truly a beautiful combination of colors. I've made a bikini and now in the process of making an Afghan for my cousin. Have already ordered 2 more 4 pks 👍👍
Not only is the Jumbo size a real money-saver, if I run out of a certain color, I can buy more of the Jumbo size with a different dye-lot number and the color usually matches my current project. I'm sure it depends on the color, but so far, I've had pretty good luck compared to the smaller Super Saver (non-Jumbo) skeins...those don't usually match the Jumbo skeins even if they have the same color name. In the photos attached of an afghan I'm currently working on with the color Grey Heather, the 5" of rows closest to the bottom of the photo were done with new skeins that I bought at Walmart almost a year later than the previous four skeins I bought elsewhere with different dye-lots. I know where I attached the new skein (I haven't trimmed the tie yet) and I can't see any color difference
The yarn is a cheap and good. it worked well for my twin size crotched quilt. only thing i didnt like is through the middle there was a spot that was tied together.
I ordered two neon stripe got one the right color then one wrong color it was called mexicana I really would like to got the same right color neon stripe
This is the second time I've bought red heart and been disappointed the yarn is tied off in one skein 5/6 times the yarn feels stiff and harsh against my skin I've been using red heart for over 3 decades and now I'm switching because the quality has changed
The pink is muted and didn't match the yarn I was working with. No hot pink Same name. Not same colors 😏
