The only product that has ever worked for tangles
I love this product and got an exceptional deal online.
Really made a difference in the frizz when I used a hairdryer after washing my hair with this!
I have spent a fortune trying various shampoos through my life, all of which were salon sold and expensive. Time and again I come back to this specific Redken product. I have found no other shampoo that cleans as well and leaves my hair smooth and ready for styling. So many factors influence hair day: the humidity, natural waves, the type of hair. I'm lucky in that my hair is thick and smooth. But the humidity wreaks havoc on every head of hair. So in Florida's miserable summers I wash once with this shampoo, condition (sometimes) and always blow dry and follow with a flat iron. I tried so many top name and pricer shampoos, but found too many are over-drying. No shampoo itself will make a person's hair smooth. But with other conditioning and styling products and drying and/or using an iron, I think this shampoo gives the biggest bang for the buck.
Redken has a nice fragrance. A little goes a long way. I was trying different products for natural hair. I tried Redken smooth down shampoo to get the same results as if I had a perm. It does straighten the hair to a degree, if you blow dry it. The shampoo is great, but, you will also have to use something else with the product that will make your hair straighter. Women of color have to definitely use several different products to find the right one for our hair. It works differently on everyone's hair, depending on how you blow dry it, or flat iron it, etc. Use any product to your discretion.
