I WANT another one with an updated OS!

Reviewed in the USA on 2016-08-05T17:00:00

I have had this phone for close to 4 years with NO problems. I would LOVE for LG to make another smart phone with a slider just like this one where the numbers have their own line. Like another reviewer I have a hard time texting on a screen as my fingers hit everything wrong and sometimes don't hit at all. The operating system is getting out of date (4.0) and it would be nice if the CEOs of the major companies would realize there are still folks who prefer physical keyboards- and not that BB thang that came out where even though they touted it as a "slider phone" it had no touch screen and the slider was a number/letter combo that was always difficult to master in the first place! PLEASE LG - make me another one of these with a new OS!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have had this phone for many years and I loved it. However, the battery connector piece messed up and I tried to fix it but only made it worse. I have added a photo of the piece I need (as far as I know it's the only piece that I need). Does anyone have an extra phone or spare parts they would be willing to give away or sell? You can contact me at rhonda.phillips1970(no space)@gmail.com Thanks in advance

I originally got the phone for the keyboard...but I have NEVER used it. The phone is the best phone i've ever had. hands down.

Phone does everything I expected from a smart phone, just a pleasure to use with even the supplied apps. Don't use the keyboard much once I discovered the microphone/audio input, but both work flawlessly. Camera is pretty good, but I still use my SLR when high-quality pics are needed. The price was great for all the functionality in this phone, just makes it a 5-start rating.

Try as I might... I cannot type on a touchscreen phone. Much to my joy, I found the Mach. It's awesome! I have the best of both worlds. I can slide out my keypad when I need to type more than a word or two, then use my touchscreen for the rest. The phone is not much thicker than other phones and has been durable with the purchase of an aftermarket cover. The only complaint I have is that you can't turn off the camera shutter sound. Otherwise, it's by far the best cell phone I've ever owned.

Phone has a well built feel, (and has survived a few drops) and the keyboard works well when needed. The camera is acceptable, and it has reasonable speeds, although more customization of the OS would be nice. Performance and reception is good, the phone speaker is middling. The price was great for what it offers (it seemed to get overlooked), though it makes it hard to find some accessories.

I have had this phone for close to a year and I have had problem after problem with it. This is the third time it has corrupted my SD card even when I got a brand new one. I am so displeased with this phone and can not wait to get a new one.
