The phone is great. Looks brand new. Not a scratch on it. Glad I went this route instead of spending a few hundred more on a brand new phone.
I have had this phone for about 2 weeks now and LOVE It! I bought it to replace a Galaxy S7 Edge whose screen started glitching and do not regret my decision at all! One thing I have learned is that I will never purchase a brand new phone again from these cell phone companies! Even the pickup at Walmart was great, the staff was extremely helpful and they double checked everything before handing it to me! One thing I would suggest is, if you need your phone ASAP, do the 2 day shipping vs pickup as the pickup for me took a week and I REALLY needed the phone quickly!
It came in the factory box, for a used phone, it was in very good shape with only one extremely small ding. After examining the guts, I put the battery in and plugged it in to charge it. Afterward, I took my sim card out of my old phone (Nexus/Verizon) and put it in the new, not knowing if I needed another sim card. I put the sim card back in the old phone and the next day went to the Verizon Store and spoke to a salesman. I asked if I needed a new sim card. He said no, took the card out of the old and put it in the S5. Done! I then went home and changed my plan to a lower tier to save money and donated the old phone to a battered women's program.
Pros: the price, the speed, the way it outshines the S4 mini in every system function. Its a whole new world. Easy to navigate, lots of storage. Cons: They do not tell you if you want to charge your phone fast, you will need to get a new USB cord. ( old ones work fine, but power charge isn't as good. It a lot comes with one, but buying more isn't a bad idea) also, the speaker phone function is pretty bad. Its hard for anyone to hear you. Note: If you aren't using the systems preset functions for texting, or internet. Go to youtube to look up how to reset those features. It took me a few days to get this phone working properly, and i'm overall happy. Its worth an upgrade.
The phone itself has been working wonderfully, but i didn't expect a used phone, at least where you can see it. The case has damage near the charging cover. And the charger it came with was a micro usb 2.0, not the faster usb 3.0.
Great price, excellent condition and arrived fast, no shipping cost. Told a friend to do the same.
I got the phone way faster than I expected I mean like 4 days before so shipping is 5 stars. The phone is in like new condition except for one thing, the lcd screen. It has a burn image of the keyboard and a strip on the top. Isn't too noticiable when the brightness is 100% but it is when is lower. Obviously this is only on white backgrounds not on regular colors. I gave them 3 stars because they should specified this.
The charging port didnt work, some other stuff was funky too, STAY AWAY!!! I purchased refurbished stuff before and this is the first one I had trouble with, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later
This phone was bought from a Walmart business partner not directly from Walmart . It was advertised as a refurbished unlocked Verizon phone that could be used with AT&T, my current carrier. Upon receipt I took it over to AT&T to switch the service over from my current phone and we found it was not unlocked. During this time the sales person inspected the phone and found that it had been exposed to moisture as evidenced by the pink coloring on the battery contacts. I requested a correct replacement or refund from the business partner however they decided on refund as long as I paid for the shipping back to them. I sent it back so let's see if I actually get a refund.
Phones internal microphone lasted 2 weeks after purchase so every phone call required headphones, at 6 months hit a "boot loop" and will not recover, horrible used phone don't recommend.
