I needed a cage for a 5 pound dog in a hurry. I searched for hours for the right thing. I hate a cage and have never caged a dog. With free delivery, I got the Regalo playard in time for my dog to come home from surgery. I set it up in 2 four piece sections, one for indoors and one for outdoors on the porch. The set up was easy and the instructions were clear. The indoor one can be easily moved from room to room by loosening the top knobs. I used the door on the inside one for ease in feeding and changing the bedding but the height is OK for me to reach in and lift the dog out without the door.
I have a 11 month old baby boy and a cavalier King Charles spaniel they need their space- this gives it to them- separation but close to each other. sounds stupid but it works- divide my office in two so baby was safe from danger but still with us in same room. buying another for the kitchen/living room area.
We bought this fence for our daughter's home to keep her twin 14 month old sons safe from the fireplace. It can be attached to either the wall or the side of a fireplace to make it sturdy and strong. These two active boys try to hang on it and shake it but it doesn't give! It also can be used on some porches and with large stairways. There is a gate for adults to get through to load up the fireplace with wood easily. We don't know what her family would do without it. Great price too.
Purchased for new grandson, we created him a play area of his own and he loves it. All of his toys are in there and he can do what he wants. Easy to set up. We love it.
This gate is very large and versatile. We have a very open living area, so we need our kitchen blocked off from our little ones and this worked perfectly.
I bought this to wrap around my Christmas tree, it works wonderfully with a little extra room for presents. My tree is 7 1/2 feet tall and standard width, which is the biggest I think it would comfortably hold, in case anyone else wants it for this reason. Keeps my cat out too! Expecting my second soon and I think it will also make an excellent playpen for the baby so my toddler can still play freely!
We had a large opening that needed to be closed when we left our three dogs in the house by theirselves. This opening was way too large for normal gates so this worked out perfectly.
I purchased this gate to use to keep my min pin off my carpet when she is home alone and at night. I knew this gate was going to be too large for the opening that I needed to for but I was looking to also use it in the future as a fireplace guard if I get any more grand babies. Plus I can take it camping and use it as a play yard if needed. It can also be taken apart to use as a smaller gate but I don't mind just leaving it folded on one end.
Item arrived broken. Plastic connector was broken where the panel connects to the door. Would just take out a panel and use connector on door if the parts were the same, but they are not the same part. Would be willing to try replacing the connector if the manufacturer sends me a replacement to give it a second chance. No exchanges currently at Walmart because they are out of stock. Could have been a good product if not for brittle connectors.
The mounting hardware this gate comes with is a joke. Do yourself a favor, and buy new screws before attempting to attach it to a wall. I wouldn't use this for the top of the stairs either. The rod that you are supposed to use to mount the gate to the wall can be easily jiggled out of the top and bottom brackets.
