my only downfall is its battery operated.....
Remington put on the box that the trimmer portion of this "precision grooming system" has an adjustable comb, with photos on the box showing the adjustments to be found at the back of the trimmer head, which is not visible in either the pictures on this site or on the box at the store. This is incorrect. The trimmer which I received in my box when I bought this item from the store was not adjustable at all. I have included a picture of the back of the trimmer head. Compare this with the other photos available here and you will see for yourself that there are no length adjustments available anywhere. Remington put on the bottom of the box that "Due to continuous improvements, the pictures may differ slightly from the actual product." This is a feature I thought I was buying, so I rated the product low on value, and I will be returning the product based on this fact. Both the mustache/beard/goatee (m/b/g) trimmer, and the nose hair trimmer are battery operated, with batteries not included in the box - that's pretty standard now, so no real complaint there. Both items in the product were simple to operate when batteries were inserted. The m/b/g trimmer had a slide for on/off, while you have to twist the body of the nose hair trimmer at the battery compartment in order to turn it on. The nose hair trimmer gets quite warm if left to run for longer than a minute and a half.
My girlfriend bought this trimmer at our local Walmart and sure enough I ran into the same problem the other review comment left. There is no attachment with this product even though it says that it does on the box. So, if you looking for adjustable settings this one isn't for you. I'm not going to bother with this product and I suggest that anyone else doesn't either.
