This flat iron has a beautiful design and is very easy to use. It has two heat settings and heats up quickly so it is ready to use quickly. You only need to go over a section 1 or 2 times and it is smooth and shiny. Great results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I flatiron my hair every single day, so to get a good review, I washed my hair, let it dry, then began. The flat iron is light, has a pretty decent length cord and is very pretty in color. Being as my hair is course and thick I set it on the highest setting. A red light popped up showing it was on. There is a slider for 2 settings not including the off. I didn't get any funky smell as it was heating up. It took about a minute and half to heat up. It clamped down nicely against the hair, slid through with no pulling or tugs. Wasn't hot enough to burn my fingers when touching the hair but definitely got straighter with one pull through. I did have to go over my hair twice to get it to my liking. Make sure you make small thin sections or else you won't get the “straightest” hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great straightening iron. It is cute on the outside,a mint/gold exclusive print. I loved that it only went up to 400° it's a great amount of heat but not too much as to burn my hair off. Only complaint is that my hair would get trapped between the plates and this small space between the handle sometimes. It didn't pull any hair out though just snagged it. This flat iron is lighter than my previous one. My hair is thick therefore I used High heat setting. I was surprised how quickly it heated up and hot but no burn. The ceramic plates snagged some of my hair. But after I used a few times, I learned to glide not to slow, not to fast. I love the results!! It made my hair sleek, smooth and shiny. I bought this straighter because my Chi stopped working after 5 years. So disappointed. It's either ripped my hair out at the root or breaking it off at the end, not enough heat, and makes a terrible dragging noise going through your hair. Ordered a different one after 3 days because I can't take it anymore.
