This is my third..Remington.. that's how much I think of it. Typical blow and vacuum.. but its the little attachment that makes the difference. Instead of blowing everything around the garage.. everything gets vacuumed into the bag Only change I would make is the bag opening..could be a little easier to empty However, overall.. as I say..its my third one. And a word of advice.. make sure you register for the warranty. My second had a motor fault and Wal Mart honoured the B and D warranty.. money returned Thanks to Wal Mart and Black and Decker
This is my 3rd Remington - lightweight, Easy flip of lever to change from blower to vacuum. I Recommend the manufacturer use a metal impeller instead of plastic. Sticks, acorns and stones broke the impeller wheel in my other two. Also put the Zipper on the bottom of the bag — not the side - its a pain to empty the leaves and junk from the side of the bag. A heavier-toothed zipper would also help. Good luck with your improvements DHJ
We had a problem finding the hardware for this unit. It was in the bag with the user manual and warnings. But we couldn't find it so the Duct tape worked wonders holding the blower nozzle onto the engine unit. Only after a frustrating search did we fine the hardware screws. Had a Return Item already on line to send item back when VOILA' hubby said to cancel return and he would use the duct tape fix until next time he needed to use it That's why I gave it 3 stars. Thorough research not enough when something so simple as finding set screws in the info packet and not taped to the cardboard supports somewhere in the box. Box recycled now and duct taped blower stored in shed. Shipping to house fast and easier than shipped to store as I usually do.
