This chain saw worth the money,as long as you mix the gas ,and use the bar oil,and when finish using it empty the gas from the chain saw, back to the gas bottle, mix gas should not sit in the saw when not in use
We bought this because we needed to cut down some trees on our acreage and wow it did not let us down!
Dad pick this out and he loves it. Its light wate and how can chop trees and wood no prouble
This work just fine for the hugh tree trunk we cut into pieces.
Really impressed with how well it cuts through limbs!!
Easy to use. Works great.
Only used it Christmas Eve to do a test run. Cut several 3-5in cedars down and the saw preformed good. I cannot attest to the durability yet, but it seems decently enough made considering the cost. The carrying case is a bonus. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the weight. 15+ lbs is pretty heavy. Saving $150 compared to buying a Stihl MS211 at 10+lbs I feel will be worth it since all my use will be smaller jobs. The plus side is extra weight helps in the down cut.
The Remington Outlaw is a very powerful chainsaw, but it is easy to operate. I've used it to cut up a sizable maple tree that Hurricane Irma toppled a couple of weeks ago. It worked equally as well cutting several cords of firewood. Because the firewood had been seasoned, it cut through it like paper. The only thing that I would suggest to the manufacturer is to make the saw easier to crank. Even after the saw has been used a while and is totally warmed up, it is difficult to start again after it has been shut off. This seems to be a carburetion problem that is fixable. Other than this inconvenience, I am totally pleased with my Outlaw, and I definitely endorse its purchase for home use.
Do not purchase this chainsaw!! After less than 1/2 gallon of fuel, this chainsaw lost power. Now, it will only cut through 2-3" limbs. While easy to start, it seems to over heat and die easily now. I returned it after only a few trees cut down. Which, is in a lot of reviews over several different websites that sell this chainsaw.
picked up the big box at site to store, pulled the chainsaw box and was neat i liked it, took a picture and sent to my brother excited becouse we finally will take down that tree, and put it away, one week later, today, pulled the case out of the box and found the case is broken like it was dropped on a corner(hole) and cracked at the clips area. called customer service and was closed, took it to walmart store and had to return and re-order. Chainsaw looked nice and new, had fuel additive and a tool, the problem was the case broken. the box was good but the product inside was damaged, i guess it was repacked or the packers dropped and never replaced the case. will see in 6 days if the other one coming in good condition and add fuel mix and oil to test the chainsaw performance. OPEN your box, Watch inside as soon as you receive it and avoid waiting time like me!
