A lot of people complain about how hard it is to tear and that it seems warped and doesn't roll off properly. I believe you might have gotten rolls stored in a hot warehouse with no air con. I would know because during a move years ago I stored a load of large rolls of packing tape that way and they warped making it so I would be unrolling a length of tape to use and it would split diagonally where the warping occured. I found that pulling the tape carefully to the opposite side would enable me to get the length I needed without splitting. With this tape it is indeed thicker than what you're used to with that awful frosted "magic tape" - which smells badly and only looks decent on paper printed for Christmas or birthday use. I use a lot of tissue paper to wrap items in my business and magic tape just makes the end result unattractive. It seems impossible to buy clear transparent tape in this country to put into a dispenser until now and I'm over the moon to have found these. To tear it off dispenser just press the tape with a finger onto the little ripper then tear off with other hand. Trust me, it won't take a huge amount of time to do. I suggest to the company they should only store this tape in cooled warehouses from now on.
