First off, customer service was excellent. The first unit was bad (something went wrong with the charging of the power station). Renogy made it easy to return for a replacement that works perfectly; it was quick and painless. This is a small unit that is filled with useful features and it holds the most power of the 5 units (4 of which are not Renogy) that I've purchased. This Renogy is my most recent purchase and by far my favorite, because of the features, compact size and amount of power it stores. If you're on the fence about whether to buy this or not, just do it - I believe you will be very pleased with the product.
Using this at my off grid cabin with a 100 watt panel for charging phones, laptop, fans etc. I am blown away by how functional and easy this has been to use. I only need to recharge it about twice per week with regular use. The best part is how lightweight it is - I've been able to conveniently carry it wherever I need it including up the ladder to my loft, as well as outdoors to run my propane water heater. Just overall a great purchase and a good deal as well.
Don't let the compact size fool you. Runs a CPAP all night with ease. Small size makes it real convenient for storage. And the power is pure sign wave. Very glad we bought two of these over other brands.
We purchased this to use at our cabin that is off grid and we have charged cell phones, watched movies on our tv with DVD player and battery lasts a long time. We do have complete Renogy solar power system for our cabin but with not getting much sun in the winter where we are located we decided to pick this up for the Tv etc and we love it.
This thing is great!! The weekend after I purchased it, I used it in my RV. I charged it up 100% and in that one charge over the span of a weekend, I watched 2 movies (powered my 32 inch t.v. and DVD player), charged multiple phones, power tool batteries and a small USB fan. By the time I headed home Sunday afternoon, it had barely reached 50%. I can't wait to try running my pellet smoker with it.
I am very very very pleased to havevthis cute little power pack! I got it to go off grid in my trailer. I love remogy productd they are highly efficient and are almost always better than expected! I use this for charging my phone, laptop and watching television. I already have renogy solar panels so I look forward to recharging it when necessary. So far it is still on 100 percent! After a few hoirs of usage. I love the way it looks and how easy it is to cart around.
I needed this mainly for my CPAP camping off grid, after reading reviews for this use I purchased a 12 volt adapter to further reduce amp draw and also reduced the humidity and heat setting on the CPAP, did a trial run at home and woke up rested and only used 25% of stored power, much, much better than expected. This reserve power adds room for more nights off grid and power for other devices and when the ac power goes off grid at home I still am prepared for a restful nights sleep. Added plus, the solar panel to amp up the reserve to keep the adventure going.
Approx. 1 month review here. I've been primarily using it to power my pellet grill (Camp Chef XT24) 2-3 times a week - and it works great! Slow cooked / smoked for 6 continuous and still had 50% charge, so great for power outage coverage there. I also purchased the Renogy 50 Watt solar panel to charge it - that is excellent as well. The 50 Watt panel charges it quickly, from 50% to 100% in just 3 hrs. We had a power outage and I used it to power the pellet grill to make a dinner for 6 people, cant complain about that. When in use and / or charging, be sure to keep it in the shade, I took mine out of shade just for the pics.
I purchased 2 of these. Before I could get them in the vehicle I wanted to use them in, we had power outages in the home. These work great for charging items.
I bought the Renogy Phoenix 300 directly from Renogy to augment and provide additional flexibility when camping with my 2018 T@G Teardrop trailer or tent camping with friends. I already have installed in my 13' trailer a 100Ah Renogy Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. I thought using the Phoenix 300 Power Station to charge cameras, phones, fans and laptops would prolong my main battery while boondock camping. I believe I made the right choice. After receiving the Renogy Phoenix 300, I performed a number of tests involving charging and discharging. All of my tests went outstandingly well and advertised specifications of the power station were met at every turn. After fully charged, I was able to power my camping LG move projector running a hard drive (measured 98 watts) for 3.4 hours. I typically would not run my projector in this manner, but it was a real-life situation I might cross. I also did tests recharging my Anker power blocks, E.Lumen 500 flashlights and Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Laptop. All were charged with ease and quickness. I also tested the Phoenix 300 recharge ability using an Renogy E.Flex 50 solar panel, 110 V power and 12 V from my tow vehicle. All recharge tests met or exceeded the advertised specifications of the Phoenix 300 Power Station. Why did I go with this power station? Size, weight, capabilities and manufacture reputation. Before my purchase I made a spreadsheet listing of the 110 volt, USB and 12 volt items that I wanted to charge/utilize with the power station. Then I matched those items with power station specifications. The Phoenix 300 Power Station meets all of my planned needs and I expect it to be useful in a number of unplanned occasions. I could even use this unit (5.8 lbs) to show movies using my projector while car camping, recharge the unit during the day with my E.Flex 50 solar panel (5.3 lbs) and avoid having to bring, like we normally have done, the gasoline generator and gas that weighs over 65 lbs. I would recommend this product for those who have a need to charge things like phones, GoPros, power blocks, cameras, drones, flashlights, tablets and rechargeable fans.
