I liked everything about it. I'm taking a cancer treatment and have to be careful about what I eat. This brand of hash browns, I can saute and when I eat them, they taste cooked, they don't have any bites that seem undercooked. My food has to be thoroughly cooked.
they dont brown or cook thru. worst purchase
I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW SALTY THESE ARE! Looking forward to a nice tasty tater treat to go along with my egg, I slapped a handful of these on the hot griddle with some unsalted butter. My first bite was a shocker. Don't get me wrong, I like salt on my food but this was ridiculous. After a couple more tastes, I wondered if I had unthinkingly salted them heavily and started a new batch which turned out the same. Then I looked at the label and was astounded at the amount of sodium. 280mg or 12% of a person's daily limit. That's horrible! Ore-Ida is the brand I usually buy, so I checked their nutritional facts and found that they only have 15mg or 1% of the daily maximum. Needless to say, I tossed the rest of the bag and decided to warn people of this artery-hardening concoction. Choose for yourself, but please pay close attention to the nutritional label on any prepared food you purchase.
