I had ipad mini before to play rhymes for my kids for long time and when he need to go to sleep, to play some fan noise from youtube, etc since my place very silent. it served for almost 3 yrs. I sold it for nice cost(since it was well maintained in a case and screen protector). Now I wanted for ipad Air for better processor, speed, better screen size, better storage - 32 GB - good camera, better battery(10 hrs) which was fulfilled by Walmart-savetronix. I wished it should not even have a single scratch. It came like new condition. I would even say, this can be bought as a gift too. But one thing u need to keep in mind - they sent it in some old apple pkg box. this is the thing that may disqualify to be gift. But other than that, if you are going to use, I would highly recommend :) Take a look at pic. I bought Logitech case for this.
The iPad arrived earlier then expected in excellent condition. The price could not be beat by anyone. We are very happy!
I bought this for my wife. She had been using a 1st generation iPad hand me down from one of the kids. This tablet looks and works like new. She loves it!
This ipad is not convenient in carrying in hand because it weight more and also its features are bit old. There are better ipad like ipad air2 and mini 4 which have good features and weigh less.
I like Apple products because I feel they are user friendly. I purchased a refurbished item I expected to be fully functional however it was not. Tech support was fantastic and quick to respond but that dealer does not issue exchanges so I had to return it.
The action of double clicking to get rid of apps behind the screen doesn't work all the time. When I requested help they referred me to the manufacturer. I am now concerned about continuing to work. Not sure if refurbishing is the way to go.
Even though an item may be sold by Walmart.com, check to make sure who the actual seller is. The item we purchased came from ePelican.com. It was described on Walmart.com as "certified" refurbished. Imagine my daughter's surprise Christmas morning when she discovered a headphone jack broken off in the unit that could not be removed. Took it to a local computer repair shop to have the headphone unit replaced. Will never make the mistake of buying anything through ePelican.com again. There is no way this unit could have been inspected and "certified" by anyone with reasonable intelligence.
Very disappointed this Ipad. does not hold a charge it dies in 15 minutes.
