Great item
Arrived very clean, I only had to attach the bar and chain, and add oil and gas (50:1 mix). After setting the choke it started right up. I was puzzled by some of the negative comments indicating that they received a dirty, oily product. That was not the case for me, I would highly recommend this product, aside from the (lack of)packaging, this looks like a new saw.
Just what I was looking after a huge windstorm we had in our area!!!
This saw is much better then I expected it starts easy, cuts great and run great.
I was kinda leery about buying something that has been refurbished, but the more I read the reviews the more I decided to take a chance on this item and I'm glad I did. when I got it, the saw looked in really good shape, except for the bar, it had some scratches on it. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but it didn't come with a bar cover, could have really used one, made one out of cardboard.
I cut a Hardwood 12 Inches In Diameter & it cut great! Made Cord Wood with the rest of it in 15 individual Cuts with out a problem. It came in a Box with Not Much In The Way Of Protection. It came with the Chainsaw, 16 Inch Bar, Chain Blade, Wrench & Instruction Manual. No problems with assembling. After the 1st 3 Cuts it would be wise to tighten the Chain but that's it. I took 1 Star Off Because Of The Way It Was Packed.
We received the saw on time; however, it arrived in pieces. My husband had difficulty assembling the saw. We ended up having to take it to the shop to complete the assembly. No where in the information did it say that the saw would come unassembled. The saw, once assembled, did work well.
Saw seems to be a good deal.

This item came unwrapped in a cardboard box. Not a single plastic bag or piece of Styrofoam. All pieces were loose and it was pretty banged up. It looks like somebody's grandpa's old chainsaw - not exactly refurbished. It won't start. Not worth it unless you are a chainsaw mechanic who is looking for a project.
