I ordered a refurbished 2DS XL, a system that has been discontinued for about two years now. They are impossible to find in stores, even places that sell everything from Atari to current generation systems. I was concerned about some of the 1 star reviews here. My experience was really good, though. There are two very small chips on the upper screen. I noticed them when I looked it over after arrival, but they are too small to notice while actually playing. The microSD card slot works pretty well, but it sometimes sticks a bit. Otherwise, the system works flawlessly. I have already downloaded and played the free games and demos from Nintendo's eShop, and my cartridges run great as well. It came with a 4GB microSD card, which I replaced with a larger one (4GB was the standard when these systems were sold brand new). The refurbished system also came with a new charger.
I disliked that they called it refurbished when they sold it to me with a broken r button and the power light does not work.
