The product does only last for 30 mins, but it says so in the description. I've used it cord and cord less and it's done the job just as I needed. I can charge it up and throw it in my bag for touch ups. It heats up really fast and I really like the safety mechanism build in this straightener. It's also on the heavier side so if you have a lot of hair, be prepared for the arm sore. lol but it leaves the head nice and silky. Perfect for the price during the holiday season.
It arrived beautifully packaged and in excellent condition, no corner cut by being a referbished item! Not dissatisfied at all on that note! It works great, not trying to rain on that fact however its HEAVY. The battery has sufficient life for my long thick frizzy hair though. Its amazing all around, except for the weight, is my personal opinion. The stand is nice and charging is available both directly to the straightener or in the beautiful foldable stand. The charger attached with a magnet to the port, so its not very secure but stays if u leave it alone. Excellent item, next edition will surely work out the very few slight kinks but definitely not terrible.
I have super thick and wavy hair and my hair strands are thick. Even with my hair thinned out I have to have six sections to blow dry and straighten my hair. The charge with this only lasted three sections so I had to recharge it which was not good. But, I do have to say, it straightened my hair nicely and stayed flat until I had to straighten it again. That was nice but I returned it. I wish it was corded and not wireless.
Does not straighten that much. Not much diff from when I blow dry the hair with the dyson hair dryer and use this. Cheaper one for 35$ does a better job
I purchased this item a few months ago and I have already tried to get a hold of Dyson customer service. I understand it is refurbished however, my battery on the straightener does not last. I can hardly get through my entire hair before it dies. The only thing customer service could offer me is 20% off a new machine. I understand I purchased this refurbished, but I would hope that it would have a better battery do yourself the favor and just buy new but he cautious because their customer service is sub par too.
The product arrived broken. It did not work once I plugged in. When I called Dyson they told me that they were sorry and to take it back to Walmart. So I did and Walmart said sorry they couldn't help me and to contact the seller but I purchased from Walmart website. I am hoping to receive my money back.
I purchased the refurbished version of this product. After 2 months of use, the temperature does not seem to get as hot as once used to, so I filed a claim and am just hitting dead ends.
I used the straightener 2 times and it no longer works. I get an error code when I try to do the second heat setting, but the straightener isn't even warm yet. Unfortunately this was a gift and I cannot return it because it is after the 90 day return policy. i looked on dyson to troubleshoot the problem but couldn't find a way to fix it.
I did not realize this was a refurbished item. The iron has not been able to keep its charge. Iron does not charge to a full battery, and only remains charged for a minute until it drops to half charged (after “fully” charged ) looking for warranty and $ back
Its missing de fly tag and it does not work
