Henry Fonda reprises his role as Frank James in Fritz Lang's rip-roaring shoot-'em up sequel to "Jesse James." Gene Tierney in her film debut, Jackie Cooper, Henry Hull and John Carradine head the powerful supporting cast. After his outlaw brother, Jesse, is shot in the back by the cowardly Ford brothers (Carradine, Charles Tannen), Frank James takes justice into his own hands. With the help of his teenage friend, Clem (Cooper), and a newspaper owner's daughter (Tierney), Frank manages to avenge his brother's death and even leave town a free man.
