just bought this straightener today and before i used it i looked on here to see what the rating was when i saw that the first people hated it i was about to take it back without even opening it. Im glad i didnt return it it works extremly well with my hair and my hair is also thick i loved it i dont see how noone else liked it.
I'd never had one this one was my first and it's just great
First and foremost I have to say that I'am not a rep for the company just an average consumer always looking for a good deal for less. Any how I purchased this flat iron with low expectation. I have thick/curly African American hair so I figured this flat iron would probably just be a quick fix. Well was I totally blown away by the results. My hair took to this flat iron like a fish takes to water lol, I'am very happy considering I paid under $20 for this item. My curly tresses has a nice sleek relaxed look without the use of chemical. The product is light weight, has a 30 heat setting dial and automatically shuts down if not in use. I truly recommend to anyone who want salon results without paying salon prices.
I bought this a s a birthday gift and it works real great
forgot my straightener while traveling so I ran out to Walmart to pick something up. Wasn't looking to spend a lot of money for something I needed just once. Saw this, had good luck with other Revlon stuff I own and gave it a try. Works just as well, if not better than my other one that cost 3 times the price! very surprised. This has become my main straightener

I bought this straightner with my allowence. I was not satisfyed with the way this straightner worked. When i would straighten my hair i would have the straightner on the highest heat setting and when i was finished my hair would be poofy at the ends but flat on the top. Within an hour or two after straightening my hair would become frizzy and curly again, no matter how the wheather was. With my old straightner my hair stayed flat for at least 3 days now with this one it won't even stay flat for 2 hours. I do not reccomend buying this product it would be a waste of your money and time. When i do straighten my hair with this product i always just put it up in a ponytail.
I bought it at my local walmart for $15 because my old straighter died. Wow. It did not straighten my hair very well at all on the highest heat setting, no matter how small i sectioned my hair. I have never had this much trouble with a straightener. My last one was only $20 and it lasted me about 3 happy years. I tried to tell my self price did not matter, but it definitely does with this product.I am returning it.
I have wavy hair so up until about 2 years ago I just let my hair do what it does naturally. This was my first straightener. It did straighten my hair...after about 45 minutes to an hour of work! My hair would be wavy again in a couple hours and it was always frizzy. My roommate let me borrow her straightener so I could compare, my hair looked great! Over the summer I have tried a few other straighteners and I have found that all of them gave me much better results, no matter the price. I definitely do not recommend this product.
I bought this straightener yesterday because my cats broke my other one. This is the biggest piece of junk I have every bought. I woke up to straighten my hair today and it barely even worked. It got really hot but it didn't even attempt to make my hair straight. If I was anyone out there, I would suggest spending a little extra money and not buying this thing. Very disappointed. I am going to return in today.
