If you are already congested, it will take 2-3 days to start helping. I have used this product for YEARS and it has always worked very well. In fact, it has always been one of my favorite cortisone nasal sprays. I just make sure to start using it at the first sign of congestion.
A lot of people misunderstand about these corticosteroid nasal sprays. They do not work right away, they can take several days to weeks to work. I am a registered nurse soon to be nurse practitioner, and I have to teach patients this all of the time. So if you have allergies, you must start to take these a month or two ahead of allergy season, and not wait until when the allergies flare up.
I have been using this products for decades. I use it to prevent allergies and it works like a charm. Great product, no side effects, and quite affordable.
My ENT told me to use only Rhinocort for my allergies. I suffer off and on throughout the year. I use the nasal spray as needed. It works so much better than any of the other OTC nasal sprays in the past. I highly recommend it. I do have trouble finding it in Wal-Mart stores. So I ordered online.
Works great, especially if you were addicted to nasal sprays like afrin. Dump the saline sprays they dont help with congestion, stuffy nose etc. I finally sleep better, keeps nose much clearer at all times. And generic price is $8 less than brand name.
I have been having allergies with the symptoms of constant sneezing after I moved to NJ. Have tried all kinds of allergy pills, none of them worked for me. Since I started using Rhinocort, my allergic symptoms relieved a lot. I hardly sneeze now.
I have been using this since 2004 when it was still a prescription. I wont use anything else for my severe allergies! Spray each nostril once a day and I dont have bad allergies anymore.
Well tolerated and effective for nasal allergies. No systemic side effects. Other nasal steroids have more issues with systemic side effects. Rhinocort does not sting or burn. Just blow nose first, then 1 spray in the middle of the nostril is safe.
This just seems to make my runny nose and itchy nose and itchy eyes worse which is a strange thing for it to do but there you have it. It makes me feel ickier.
Product was fine, but shipping was not. Package arrived open inside box with product outside of its sealed box. Sent back for replacement. Replacement pending.
