This thermometer works really well. You just point at the forehead and hit the “trigger” button. Quick results, pretty much instant. This is a great option for anyone needing to take temps without having to touch or get too close to someone who may be infectious.
This thermometer works great! The best part is non-contact. It can be used for your home or business. The results are quick and accurate. It comes with batteries included. It's easy to use and the results are clear. You can turn off the beep is desired and the mode can be changed to Fahrenheit or Celsius. Definitely a must have to with COVID still around.
I love this new Right Care infrared thermometer. Its very user friendly. Comes with batteries and easy to read instructions. I grew up with the mercury thermometers, so was a little skeptical about the accuracy of of an infra red. So i tested it against my mercury. Both gave the exact same reading! This will be so handy! I can check the grandkids temps as they come in the door. Kids are such little germ factories. Grandparents need to be super careful these days. This unit has a "Fever Alarm" that beeps at 100.4 degrees. It gives you a reading in the blink of an eye. An unexpected but useful tool in the kitchen as well, as you can measure the temperature of foods and liquids! i highly recommend this thermometer.
I wish we would have had this thermometer when my 5 year old was a baby. This is a complete no touch thermometer that is fairly accurate as long as you are close enough. My 5 year old does not mind this thermometer either. It is simple enough for him to stand there for a few seconds while we click a button. This is also nice to have during COVID. It makes things quick and easy if you want to check your temp before walking out of the house. I am curious to see how long the battery will last in this product. Another brand was used for a quite a while before it was time to change, but that model had to be touching a forehead. So, even if I have to change them out, I think I will still be happier with this product as it is a no-touch thermometer. It is comfortable in your hand. It is quite large, so if you would rather travel with a smaller one, I would not blame you. The numbers are nice and large, easy to read. I have no complaints when it comes to this thermometer.
The RightCare No-Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer with Instant Results is extremely easy to use with its one-button control! My 4 year old granddaughter used it (with supervision) to take temperatures when she saw the thermometer and knew what it was for. It is touch free and only needs to be held 1.2 to 2 inches from the forehead. It takes a couple of seconds to give you a read out. Because it is contactless there is no need to clean the thermometer after each use. The thermometer has 32 reading memory capacity. There are two measurement modes; it will measure the temperature of the forehead and it will also measure the temperature of the room. The bright LCD display is clear and easy to read, the display can be used at night without turning on the room light. The thermometer uses AA batteries and will alert you when the batteries are low. By using AA batteries, there are no “unusual” batteries to purchase and changing the batteries is very, very easy. I highly recommend this forehead thermometer! Note: I received this product as a promotion and am very pleased with it.
I have been looking for a good quality no contact thermometer to use at home and the RightCare No Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer worked out perfectly!! This thermometer comes with 2 AA batteries, is accurate, and made of high quality plastic. I love the look of this thermometer. It looks like a professional device used at a doctor's office. I like how the LCD screen is big enough so I can read results easily. I also like how there are 3 different modes that allows me to select body, room, or surface temperature. It is very easy to use and gives fast results. In addition, I like that the color display alerts when a fever is detected. Love it! Works well! Very satisfied!!
Great thermometer to measure temperature of three different categories, room, body, and surface temperature. It acts similar to a gun. You simply need to point it in the direction of the forehead/arm and press then release the button. The temperature will then appear brightly on the screen. I find it pretty accurate. My husband had a fever recently, and the reading for that was over 100 degrees. Typical reading is around 96-97 degrees. This operates on a 2 AAA batteries which were conveniently included. One button is the alarm button which will make a sound when the temp is over 100.4 degrees (fever indicator). It's easy to hold and not slippery. Compact sizing makes it great for travel especially during this pandemic time.
This is a awesome thermometer! It can take your temperature instantly without touching. It also has a room mode and a surface mode. So it can check the temperature of the room or even be a food thermometer. You just select body, surface or room mode and you're good to go. This thing can store 32 temp readings and you can set a alarm temp so it will alert you if it reaches the temperature threshold you set. Plus the backlight changes color according to the temperature. Green for no fever, orange for low fever and red for high fever. The only negative in my opinion is that you have to be within a couple inches to take the temperature. It would have been nice to be able to check temps from across the room.
I had bought a different infraRed thermometer which shows wildly different readings if you take your temperature 3 times in a row. This RightCare one however is much more reliable. I have tried it over several days and the results are consistent and reliable. It is also very easy to use and the screen is easy to read. The batteries also come in the box and are easy to install. Overall, no issues at all with this and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
My work implemented the use of this no touch thermometer once COVID hit. Every morning every single employee came through my department and had their temperature checked, so I've gotten to use this product quite a bit. We noticed that if you take temperatures immediately one after the other they are almost identical readings. This was because we were not using it properly at the beginning. You are supposed to give it a small break in between readings. Once we followed the directions properly it was more diverse with temperatures. The device has an audible beep alarm when it finishes the reading and was typically a very instantaneous read out. I would say it takes less than a second to get a result. The temperature is also very accurate. As you can see all my thermometers are within 0.2 degrees of each other. This device is amazing compared to the old oral thermometers. Not only do you not need to change tips in-between people, but the reading is also 20× faster. My old thermometers take about 20 seconds to give you a reading. I'm also a fan of the color change feature on this product. If someone has a fever the read out screen turns red. This was a good visual for us that an employee had a fever. I'd definitely recommend this thermometer for employers that are temperature checking right now during COVID, or just for general home readings.
