I feel during my pregnancy my immune system is so vulnerable but there isn't much I can take for when I have a sore throat or runny nose. Before taking this i did ask my doctor and they approved. Robitussin helped feel better when I was feeling under the weather 
I received a #freesample of this flu medication and it was a lifesaver! I just had the flu & this helped get rid of my fever & allowed me to sleep at night even though I had a horrible cough! I'm very impressed with how quickly the Robitussin severe helped my cough. It coated my throat and helped cease the cough almost completely. The relief lasted a while and I was actually able to rest after almost 2 days. I wasn't too pleased with the flavor but we all know most medicines don't taste to good. I love this remedy because I help myself a lot when I felt very bad with fever and synopsitis. My problem with nasal congestion is strong and this helped me.
Robitussin is always in my medicine cabinet just in case of the cold or flu season. The syrup has a berry flavor, is fast, effective for cough and mucus relief, is nondrowsy, and has a soothing effect. The bottle has a child-proof cap and the 8 oz bottle will last for a long time. Also the medication has less side effects which is just fantastic. Not recommended for children.

I don't remember Robitussin ever tasting this bad, that's why I used to always buy it over the other brands. It's raspberry mint and it definitely has a menthol taste to it, I have to chase it with water. I will say that it works for a cold though, so it's still worth using.
