Had bought this a few months ago for a cold, but never opened it. Tested Positive COVID (2nd time) last week. Day 4 was exhausting, had a wicked dry cough that was relentless. I couldn't sit, lie down or talk, without coughing & sleep was elusive. I just wanted rest & relief. Looking through medicine cabinet, lo & behold, I saw this unopened bottle !!! Truth, I was spent & lost hope in finding relief. Opened it & took a dose. It helped minimize my cough reflex enough for me to fall asleep for 7 hours later, I was so thankful!! Not sure about complaints about taste, it's medicine not a juice box, It's certainly tolerable. Been using various versions of Robitussin my whole life. Highly recommend!!!
Anytime someone is sick in my house i always get this for at night time, and the regular for during the day. It helps so much. It has to be the max strength! You'll be feeling better in just a couple of days. I love that it's a cough suppressant. No other brand works as good at Robitussin! Next time you have a bad cough try it out!
Robitussin is the best cough syrup on the market. It is the only cough syrup that really helps my symptoms. The taste isn't bad and there are no negative side effects
This is one of the few medicines I'm allowed to take when sick that won't interact with my regular ones. It really works for cold/cough symptoms, which is great, because there are several “bugs” going around right now. It contains dextromethorphan HBr as a cough suppressant and guaifenesin as an expectorant, and helps control cough, congestion and mucus when you have a cold or related illness. (It may not be Rochelle's cure-all like on the show “Everybody Hates Chris,” but it does work on colds/coughs. LOL) It is non-drowsy, so it is good for daytime use, and has a pleasant raspberry flavor. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

I cough a day and night. But a dose of this, I was sleeping great and cough free. I was still able to wake up when the kids needed me and fall back to sleep. The flavor is your typical cough medicine taste. Nothing amazing but definitely not the worse I have tasted. It berry flavor. Goes down easy and kicks in fast. Was feeling better faster because I actually got some sleep. And to me sleep is the most important thing when you are sick. I tell my kids this all the time. When they are sick, you need sleep. This is an excellent cough syrup, I am usually up all night when I get a cold, but with this cough syrup I was able to get a great night of sleep. Also it had a pleasing taste, which is hard to find I a cough syrup. I am a BABY about taking cough medicine due to a traumatic childhood swing set experience, but this stuff works. It's also never as bad as I think it's going to be. I don't normally take sleep aids but it's helpful that this helps you sleep through the night without coughing!
It Taste so nasty and disgusting. Didn't work either. Didn't help relieve the symptoms and burn our throats. I'd rather take nyquil. I wanted something to help relieve my sickness right away
