I received this free product from Smiley360 for the purpose of my review. My opinions are my own. I love this medicine. I have a picky daughter when it comes to finding meds that work and that also taste good. This one was a hit on both things. It quieted her cough and stopped it on a couple of occasions. It worked great! I miss the original flavor though, the raspberry flavor isn't good.
Robitussin DM has ALWAYS been our "go to" cough medicine for our entire family for years and years. Even the kids when they were little didn't mind the taste and throw tantrums when forced to take the medicine. I have never been an easy one to take my medicine when the taste was...gaggy. But Robitussin DM was so easy to swallow...until now. I didn't pay attention to "New Flavor or Formula till after I took my first dose. What a terrible surprise...horror and experience while gasping for a breath. Please....bring back the cherry flavor. I don't see getting through these flu season without it.
I've been using Robitussin DM for over 15 years as needed during my repeated bouts with bronchitis -- I've always found it to be affective with no side effects. I recently purchased a new bottle -- the box was labeled "Better Tasting" with a picture of raspberries THIS NEW VERSION IS NOT AN IMPROVMENT -- THIS NEW 'FLAVOR' IS TERRIBLE!! IT IS BITTER TASTING AND LEAVES A BAD AFTER TASTE - AND MAKES ME GAG WHILE TRYING TO SWALLOW IT I've been back to the store and purchased their generic version and it is similar to your previous product -- BE ASSURED THAT I WILL NEVER EVER BE BUYING THE NEW 'FLAVOR' EVER AGAIN
